I just finished watching Pbusardo's review on the MVP v2 and I went into it specifically wanting to know about the pressure required for the fire button. And sure enough he hit on it big. Less than a pound of pressure to fire the ProVari, and over 2 for the MVP v2. I'm really interested in it for the build quality and durability, but I was looking for more user input from you guys on if it's seriously that huge of a deal.

It doesn't go off in my pocket. Only pv that I even put in my pocket, due to form factor. It doesn't make a loud click when pressed. I might accidentally move my thumb or finger off of it from time to time, but I like it. 2 lb's of pressure really isn't much....I essentially push button for a living, and it is one of the easier buttons I have to deal with.

Have used friends MVP's and MVP 2.0's and my biggest complaint about the button is not the pressure but the position. I have big hands and it would be better for me to have a button like the Gripper mods but If I got a box mod I would definitely consider it. Very good, solid mod IMO.

I'm clocking in at a stout 5'6, so it shouldn't be too big of deal. My hands aren't huge or small.

I got my MVP 2 about a month ago. The firing button is NOT hard to press (and I'm a girl). The general consensus is that Innokin has "fixed" this flaw as well as the on/off switch wobble since Busardo's review. I wouldn't hesitate to get one if I were you.

The general consensus is that Phil, while I love him, tends to be a crybaby.

The MVP is, bar none, the best value in the vaping world.

I'm a tiny girl, I don't have super strong hands, and I will not vape something if it requires more than what I'm willing to put out as far as effort goes.

The MVP V2 is my standard vape. I don't entirely get why people make the button a bit ordeal. The button is fine. It's not an intense workout when I vape it all day, my thumbs don't feel sore, I don't have to switch hands after a while... the button is a button.

I'd compare it closer to pressing a garage door button...? Ish. I've even been able to push the button with my pinky with ease.

The button is just extra clicky. That's all.

The button IMHO is a pluss. I never have to turn it off before putting it in my pocket. Now that I think about it, I have never turned it off. It's a solid device. Performs flawlessly, and feels good in the hand. I didn't think I would like a box mod but for 40$ I bought one for a backup and for home use. After seeing how well it's built and the batt last so long I take it everywhere. I do construction so it's been banged up. I put a wrap on it as soon as I got it and it's still in perfect condition. Another pluss is it doesn't have the rattles among chip. Only drawback is it only goes up to 5V and 11W but I use low ohm coils so I don't have a problem. I've built 1ohm coils on my RDA and it fired them. For the same price as a joyetech ego and a protank I say this is one hell of a deal.

No problem here when to comes to the button on the 2.0. It has a raised bezel, and what 'Pete' Busardo (I kid, I kid, love his videos!) :D refers to as a hard to press button seems more like tactile feedback to me. The on/off switch for the USB seems to be fixed on my 2.0 also, it's recessed enough that it doesn't cause any kind of wobble, and it sits flat with no problem.

I have a minor issue with the fire button on my original one. It sits pretty much flush with the surface and is sometimes hard for me to tell if I'm pressing it or not, and has occasionally led to inadvertently turning it off while vaping and driving.

I agree 1000%. I also own the mvp2, Even for a beginner it is easy to set up and understand, & the button is a non issue.

If you can still find them at 40$ I would buy two. I wish I had !!!

ps. I don't know if the deal is still going, but 101vape is where I found mine at that price, thanks to ........!!! :vapor:
