It's a matter of personal preference, taste and weather you get any burn-y hits.

Taste, and VV/VW is subjective. And varies from liquid to liquid. Fruit flavor tend to favor cooler temps, while tobaccos usually taste better at warmer temps.

Dial it up, dial it down, and find out what works best for you and the liquids you own.

I have an itaste MVP with a Aerotank, 2.0 ohm dual coil. What is the best voltage and wattage to run it at for maximum coil life and flavor? I vape a lot and take long drags if that helps at all. Thanks in advance

It's a matter of preference, of course. I like to vape single-coil atomizers at ~6 watts; dual coils, like your Aerotank, require a bit more power because you're dealing with two coils of higher resistance (a 2Ω dual coil atty consists of two 4Ω coils). I'd start at 7-8 watts and adjust as needed, up or down.

When you figure this out will you please let me know? I've yet to find a duel coil set up (dripping) that works well for my MVP2:unsure:
singles are working great though:vapor:

I'm glad you are. You have no idea how many new members believe that vaping is a competitive sport and that the size of their clouds is somehow related to the size of.. never mind. :D

Should be around 8 to 10 watts.

That's 4 to 4.5 volts on a 2 ohm.

Yea... mind haha but bigger smoke can make for cooler tricks if you're looking for more than a nicotine fix. Over all though, just find a nice voltage that doesn't give you a burnt flavor over time. I've seen that issue where I have bought a cheap battery that absolutely kills the flavor because of super high voltage... or so I believe.

I'm shooting for about 2.0 but if I could go as low as 1.5-1.7 that would be great. I'm trying to build it on my IGO W Just a basic duel coil I guess.

Like I said above--a 2Ω dual coil has two 4Ω coils. So you'll need more wattage than you'd use for a single 2Ω coil. Depending on how hot you like it, anywhere from 8-10 watts should be fine.

I've tried that and it just seemed to take forever to heat up and it just never seemed to give a descent vape:( I kinda just threw in the towel and figured my MVP2 just wasn't the right PV to do the trick. But I'll keep trying.
:thumb:Thanks for you input. I really do appreciate it:thumb:

the mvp2 only goes up to 11 watts, so if you're using high gauge dual coils on a dripper you might not be able to get enough power;
If you use 30 or 32 gauge and make up a 2 ohm coil it should vape great.
