The MVP is a regulated mod and the chip will not let it go much below 1 ohm (might be .8 can't remember for sure). Dual coils are more generally used for sub ohm vaping.
As stated above, to get a 2 ohm vape from dual coils you will need 2 coils at 4 ohms each. That requires a lot of power to push those. Try a single coil. When I was using the MVP I had very little luck with duals. If you look at a mech mod with good batteries or a regulated mod with higher top end wattage you will have better luck with duals.
