MVP2.0 won't charge

Anyone have issues with the MVP not charging? It's less than 6 weeks old. The light does not come on when plugged in. Thoughts?

Sometimes I find I have to angle the USB connector, as it doesn't always fit just right.


Maybe wiggle it in there and see if the light comes on.

Going down the list

-power source is bad

-cable is bad

-input jack is bad

-battery is bad (including loose or dead connections between the USB input and battery)

Not the cord, I am able to charge my MVP using the same cord and outlet. Just my wife's that won't charge. I may just let her have mine and I'll pick me up a Siegeli 20. Or a Hana clone when they become available.

personaly id have to assume its the charger port of the mvp. had mine since Christmas and just looking at the bottom of my mvp, the usb connections are shifted slightly over. wear and tear id assume, but still nontheless i belevie its the charger port.

just a shot in the dark here, make sure the out-put charging button on the bottom is off

If you are mechanically inclined at all I wouldnt hesitate to open her up and take a look.

Also another member here mentioned taking a bricked MVP and swapping in a DNA30 chip which would make an awesome sleeper conversion
