sometime back, i had a nearly new evic freak out on me and finally quit working ( looked like the center pin in the 510 shorted out or something) and i sent it in for a replacement ( value vapor, great outfit and Nate their customer service is outstanding).

in the meantime i also bought another evic head as a backup.

now the problem.

so far it seems BOTH heads work flawlessly except that when i open up the vapor software and read the info from my evic, its telling me it downloaded the info , but it wont show anything at all on the vapor record calenders ( such as puffs, voltage records, ect, ect). does the same exact thing for BOTH evic heads ( the replacement and the new one i purchased as a backup) . i upgraded both to 1.3, AND even reinstalled the MVR software....

it is downloading the info though and does show all of the other stuff such as ohms, volts, puff count/reset,date,time, owner info, ect in the software, just not any of the actual calender info.

both of the new heads are doing the exact same thing with this software so im leaning towards it being a MVR software issue.

anyone got any ideas on what might be causing this? everything worked wonderfully before i has to replace that one head.

Try checking the date on evic + mvr + computer. Just a guess?
