Well this just goes to show how fast things turn around in the world of electronics huh? Noticed that the evic is getting a upgrade version 1.2 and well the MVR is getting a upgrade to 1.2 as well As per joyetech's web site. The Post was 2013-01-11 17:57:22 (UTC time?) All they say is January will be the Beta release, and if i translated the chinglish to English the eVic will go from manual to automatic? Anyone want to crack the translation barrier?

After releasing eVic, we found several shortcomings in the software. For that, our software development team have been trying their best to design and improve eVic 1.2, and MVR 1.2. Based on the original software, we have added auto vapor mode, users can edit timeline pulsation for MVR VV/MVR VW. Meanwhile, they also can define their battery capacity by themselves. In order to use these two software more convenient and simple, joyetech specially made a series of reasonable change and adjustment for eVic and MVR interface .

For those who are Mac users (aka: Project guy who needs a good old fashion windows box :p :D)

In addition, in order to satisfy users who use MAC system, we will soon release MVR ( MAC) 1.0 beta version.

And we got color tubes coming out? 0_o

At the same time, due to the market requirement, we designed three new colors of eVic battery casing. Users can change their battery tube according to what the like.

After trying out the new ramp voltage/wattage up/down and automatic features, I absolutely love the new firmware and app. You can switch between manual and auto. In auto mode, you set the number of seconds you'd like your puff to last, press the fire button once, and it fires for the specified time. Works with MVR VV/VW mode as well. It's nice because sometimes I want puffs that are the same, approx. 3-4 seconds, and sometimes I like to control the puff length using the fire switch, and they've made it fairly easy to switch between the modes. The menus are much easier to navigate and exit now also.
