I got a neighbor who uses our internet when he gets a strong enough signal. Hopefully danimal can do something like that.
If he has a neighbor like you who is nice enough to allow it.
Otherwise he could get in some serious trouble if found out. Hopefully he has someone like you jj.
That's interesting jj! Can you tell when others are using your connection? (slows down your pc or whatever?) just curious

Using someone else's internet without permission is considered hacking.
Then how does "trouble" happen though? You'd have to do something about it to get them in trouble, that is if you wanted trouble lol.
Why not just change the password so people can't "log in" to your wireless connection?
Not that they would. In the case of jj, she's allowing the neighbor "in" ?

good morning every1... thank goodness for free wifi at DD.. Thanks to every1 for the offers of help. I am ok . Was weird going to unemployment office today, I have never been unemployed since a graduated from high school in 1990. The only thing that bothers me is the chief could have told me a month ago about possible layoff so I could have started job searching, I mean after all I do have 3 kids 2 in college .. Hope every1 is having a good morning I will be logging in when ever I can..be well
