I've been using 7-8.5 watts in RMS (02) mode on my Vamo, with 2.2ohms carto tank, and somewhere around the same when I use the 1.2-1.3ohm RBA (sometimes depending on juice flavors, I up this to 8-10 watts though).

When I hit it hard or multiple times in a row, I can feel the battery get hotter much easier with the lower ohms, so I assume this drains the battery much faster right?

Hmm, do you think I should try lower watts then? I've tried a little lower, maybe 6 or so, but never real low so not sure how that would affect my vapor or juice tastes. I know it's all about what we like, but now I'm wondering if I'm overvolting things from the get-go with this Vamo :)

Morning Gang! Just placed my first order with MVS Last night. About time too considering how long I've had a presence in this thread!

Hey Aurora... On this RBA aasupplyny handed out recently... I tried taking the O ring off the top plate, but it made no difference in getting the air hole to line up... I had to sand the cap down. I'm not fully lined up yet... more sanding to do, but it has made a huge difference in the hit!

Also, on my Vamo (in RMS ALWAYS), I run my 2.5 Vivi between 8 and 9 watts, I usually adjust down the longer into the vape session I go... and my 1.4 MVS RBA between 6 and 7 watts.

I've never noticed my battery getting hot. The tube gets warm, but that's just the heat of my clutching the Vamo and never putting it down! I love that thing!

i use a imotion which says it goes to 10 watts but test out at 6 with a 2.2 ohm ...now if i use low ohm it can go higher but its only because of the low ohms

Ya I guess you would need lower ohms then, do you plan to get larger Kanthal wire sometime so you can try lower ohms?

Good Morning everyone. I have fallen behind. Darn snow.

I still don't have my RBA up and running. It's interesting reading what you all have to say though.

Hope you don't get buried too deep! Wish we had some now :(

Ya, I just noticed that too about the o-ring, stops in the same spot with or without the o-ring for me too! Guess I'll have to file and sand it down!

Maybe I'm using too many watts then? And I think some of the heat I'm noticing may just be because I'm still new to vaping, and was basically a chain smoker, so I'm still chain vaping a bit more than usually probably :D Plus, some of it could also be due to the battery I'm using? I grabbed one of the cheap joytech 18650's when I ordered mine, still need to get a better quality battery when I can afford it.

Also, I have both springs in the bottom of my cap, does that matter in regards to the heat possibly? Should I remove the smaller one and just use the larger new one that came with it?

I played around with mine one day and didn't get it right. :(

Sometime today, I hope to get the courage to try again!!

Good luck jj2, keep at it and you'll get it!

good afternoon. I have fallen behind and it has nothing to do with snow. No snow here. This is east texas. I am just..... lazy, I think. LOL
I better go try to get something done.

Now admit it Morri....you are like me. You have spent too much time at ECF and didn't get much done. Yes I'm guilty too.
