Good evening, everyone! Unfortunately, real life has been interferring with my ECF time! lol!

I STILL haven't rebuilt anything... I have a phoenix clone, 2 vivi novas and a kanger t3 that all can be rebuilt. At the moment, they are all working with the wicks they came with.... I am still afraid to mess with them and have them not work! I guess I should probably wait until I have more time after the holiday! Things have been getting crazy and I am running out of time to do everything I need to get done!

morri, jj2, and Reddhott - you all always post such pretty pictures, thank you for the smiles they bring! :)

Snus, just keep 1-2 things working at a time, and then work on rebuilding 1-2 others. That way you know you'll always have a few devices that work. Once you get the hang of it, might take some frustration though, anyway once you get it down a few times it'll be much easier and you'll feel a lot more confident about it.

I hear you on life interfering, happens here far too often too! :)

Yep, things should definitely be better after Christmas! Right now, since everything is working, I don't wanna "break" it! lol! I am hoping to make it WAY better, but since it will be my first time, I am very nervous about it. Plus, I have juice adhd! I currently have 4 different pv's with 4 different juices in them that I keep switching back and forth... I am chain vaping and the only thing that could keep up with me would be my phoenix or my carto tanks. I am not even using the phoenix right now as it would require dripping! lol!

Then again, I have been vaping these juices with no new additions for a few weeks now and I keep thinking about what new juice to add to what new device! :) Oh, the perils of vaping! lol!

I know what you mean, it can be frustrating or worrisome to even start, so don't feel bad. You'll get the hang of it once you get going though, just keep in mind when you get started that you always have other things you can use, so if you don't get it the first few times or few days even, you'll still have something else you can use while you work on the rebuilds.

Sounds like you should get a pack of 3-5 cheap clearos, just to keep on hand as extra flavor testers, then you could have 10+ flavors all available to taste at once! :)

PM coming!

I do have a 306 atty that I use for testing, the problem now is that I put in a really strong juice and the taste is still in there! I suppose I should clean it, but I have been using a mild juice instead.... I did miss out on a great clearo deal that I should have taken advantage of! I would have spent more than that on drip tips alone and these had regular 510 drip tips! Oh well! Plus, I am not all that crazy about the clearos. I suppose the best thing would be to get some cartos, fill 'em up and if I really liked the flavor, I could punch them and put them in a tank... But, that is not rebuildable! I want to get away from the silica wicks and try some cotton. I already have the stuff I need, I just need to do it! I am sure I will have more time after all this Christmas stuff is over!

I need to get something for testing, I think you sent me a link to an atty for quick tests, I have it bookmarked I believe.

I picked up a set of 5 Kangers KR bottom coil (Discontinued) from the Christmas sale at HC, they were only $0.01 so I couldn't pass those up at that price, and nothing else on the penny sale looked interesting to me. They've been working pretty good for me, no problems so far really, kind of hard to hit but I just need to open the air holes a little. They wont fit VAMO though! :(

But ya, I need to get a testing atty like you mentioned too, especially for my DIY ventures! Need to get another tip or two myself, why are those so addictive anyway!? :D

Hope you have good luck rebuilding once you have time to get into it!! If you think I can help with anything feel free to PM me anytime. I may not be able to help like many others here might, but I'll sure try! :)

RE: The MVS RBA (as I have come to call it!).

Sanding the cap down to line up the hole has made an AMAZING difference. No more burnt hits! Voluminous clouds of vapor. Exquiste taste!

However... I have discovered a problem... my tank has cracked. Runs the entire length of the tank. At this time, it isn't leaking or affecting the vape.
I am now looking for glass replacements. Anyone know the dimensions?

Thanks for your pic boardopboy, looks like it should be an easy fix for us then! Sorry to hear about the crack!

What caused that, juice or did you crack it some other way? Hopefully someone will know the dimensions or a link to where we can get a glass tank, I'd like one too! If you find out please post here or PM me, thanks!

You can check out IBLTanked once you get the dimensions for the tank. They make glass tubes for all sort of tanks. If MVS allows, I'll post the link here, but you can pm me for the link if you want.

Thanks everyone for the heads up, and Nancy for the link! And MVS for the RBA!

I'm not sure how or why it cracked. I have a butter rum / Peppermint DIY in there right now... but it looks more like a compression fracture than anything else. There is no other indication of degradation. I may have just screwed the end caps on too tight after the last cleaning... Like I said though, it isn't leaking... so I'm sure I can finish the tank!
