After researching here and elsewhere on the web for weeks I opted to order the Inferno T model from Volcano. My husband has the Ego T model and loves it but the sleek, elegant appearance of the Inferno swayed me towards that brand.
I'm on the East Coast and the order was shipped promptly from Hawaii. I received it in 4 business days. The packaging is solid and my product arrived in good condition. A major gripe: the instructional booklet contains not one word about how to fill the blank tanks and insert them into the atmoizer. Yes, there are videos on the internet and forums like these, but all product orders should come with comprehensive instructions, especially when you pay upwards of $75.00. What if I was trying this model for the first time with no previous experience?
I was a bit worried at first because it took an act of Congress to get the tank pushed all the way into the atomizer. Also, I've been used to the 2 piece designs w/cartomizers so it took getting used to an atomizer and the breaking in it requires. It took a few minutes before the atty broke in and I was getting good, strong throat hits.
It didn't take long to get the tank filling part down pat. I like the tank system....a lot. I like that I can have some filled tanks just ready to be switched when one runs out. cartomizers actually take a lot of patience to get them completely filled ( liquid drips out the other end, can only put a little liquid in at a time).
This morning it seems my atomizer fell apart a bit. The little metal piecy thing that has fibers attached fell out of my atomizer when I switched tanks. I pushed it back in but it won't stay on its own. I've contacted customer service and will wait to hear what they have to say.
A major, major plus for the Inferno T:
The kit comes with a regular 1000 mah battery and a 650 mah passthru. This passthru is genius because it lets you vape while the passthru is charging!!!! That goes for vaping at my desk or in the car. Then, the passthru becomes a regular battery when you put the cap back on the end. Maybe others have seen this but I have not, and that alone makes this a great option for me.
The verdict: Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase, assuming the customer service is good and responds if there are issues. I am still learning about atmoizers and need to keep extras on hand if one burns out. I'm still not sure how long they last on average.
This is one sexy vape!
