Okay, I told my vape story in another thread, which sadly didn't end well in 2009. :glare:
However, going forward, I'm pretty optimistic and really excited about jumping back into it.

I expect to be receiving my Aegis Legend Kit next week.
The kit comes with the Aeromesh tank, 2 glass, 2 coils, etc.
With the Legend Kit, I'm also getting:
Geek Vape Super Mesh Coils (x5)
LUC v4 LCD Smart Charger
Coil Master DIY Kit v3
Digiflavor Siren GTA (MTL) 25mm tank - was clearance so I can mess around with RTA if I want. Don't know how much I will, but options r gud.

^^^^ The cost of everything < 2 cartons of smokes.

Back in the day, I dabbled just a bit with DIY - got a kit from Johnson's Creek (Pepperidge Fahms remembahs ;)), as well as a bunch of LorAnn's flavorings, etc. I was mixing and dipping/dripping using 36mg nic.
So I plan on expanding a bit there. I do need to get a scale.

The Nic River DIY starter kit is begging me to buy it, but trying to choose 15 flavors and nic formulation/strength is gonna take me probly a week. lol.

After ordering the kit, I found that there are 4 vape shops within a 45 min drive, so this should REALLY help (no more waiting for slow boats from China). I called two of them, and once I told them about the kit and that I wasn't exactly a n00b, they were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They both said they would mail me supplies if I wanted. One has their own line of juices that sounds awesome.

So... I think I should be just about set... though I'd like a decent device that I can drip to taste test my juice. Recommendations?

Are there any glaring holes or mistakes in my plan?

Thanks!

Thanx Anna! For juice, as I mentioned, I'm looking at the DIY kit with 15 flavors for making my own. Ideally I don't want to be settling on (and paying for) premium juices - but I'll definitely grab some samples at the shops.

In search of my ADV, to start with, I'd like to get a nice camel/turkish tobacco recipe and eventually mix my own... and a Dr. Pepper recipe. I've been bookmarking recipes to try once I get all set up.

Definitely get a scale for your diy ejuice. Saves you having to get syringes and I find it more accurate. You want one that will go as low as 0.01g and a higher automatic shutoff time.

As for an RDA - it depends on whether you prefer mtl or DL. I use a hadaly clone RDA for restricted lung hit

I started DIY the way you suggest.
Still have two tackle boxes full of flavors.
Eventually I decided to stop chasing recipes and narrowed my interest down to 3 recipes with another one optional.
Cost is one reason, future availability the second.
I did not want to spread myself too thin.
I think I am now set for 15 years or so.
That's just me, do what you think is right for you.

    Yep, that's really my goal.
TBH, I wouldn't mind ending up at unflavored juice/straight VG.
