So, I think this one turned out a lot better. This time I used a real 510 connector instead of rigging one up with a clearo-base and small bolt. :)
The copper plate on top was kind of a happy accident after having trouble getting the connector mounted in the wood after my wires were soldered on. This one takes an 18650. Nothing fancy in electronics, just wire and a switch. (Which I really like, thanks to whoever it was that pointed me to those- flush mount, no accidental firing!)
Anyway, I'd love to know what you guys think. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1395695180.164690.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1395695193.204007.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1395695202.246772.jpg

The coffin look is maybe a bit of illusion from pic. It's no thinner at the bottom than top, just a bit more rounded. I'm a bit unhappy with the 510 connector. Or maybe it was the guy who installed it. It was my first. Seems like it's not deep enough.
Performance wise tho, it seems to work pretty good. With two freshly charged 18650s I moved the same Atty back-and-forth between it and my nemesis clone. (Pulse-g with 1.3 ohm single coil) There was a slight difference but not much. I like the look of the trident that's on it in the picture, but I haven't found the right set up for it yet, airflow etc.
