my 510 and extra should arrive today, little help

I placed an order last night and should get it today (didn't even know that totally wicked is in the next county over)...


Here is what I got

510 starter kit
10 extra carts
(2) 30ml e liquid 18mg
handfull of extracts for when I quit the nicotine

where do I start, I have watched you tube and read a lot here and of course will read the manual, but any advice before I even open the package?

get a passthrough or PCC (i prefer PCC cause im out alot) and research the pyramid teabag mod, or the fluval mod. There are lots of great posts, and a few youtube videos on how to do this.
The standard polyfiber gets stuck in the atty when it gets dry and you end up vaping burnt fibers (horrible taste)

Some people recommend cleaning the atomizers before using them. (i didn't) there are alot of posts on this too, my fav: soke it in bacardi 151 overnight and then dry it out, (takes time) but great way to clean.

Lastly take it easy if your new to vaping, I vaped way way way too much when i started and got pretty sick. (nic OD)

Most likely the batteries will be near charged. Put them on the charger, even if the lights indicate charged leave them there while you do this:

I have put new atomizers in 151 clear vodka or everclear for a 1/2 hour or so and then blow them out - both ends and let dry on a paper towel. When dry, if you have empty carts you can fill a few up while you're waiting... or if you have prefilled - connect them up with the attys once dry and start vaping.

Johnson's plastic shaft 'safety swabs' are good for this as well as the coffee stirrers.

As SF says PCC's and passthroughs are nice to have as well as some usb wall plugs and car plugs to run and charge them. You'll need plugs that are rated output at 1amp (sometimes stated as 1000ma) to run the passthrough at full power. Less than that for just charging.

cool thanks I really hope they get here today, I cant wait but just want to do things right, I am gonna start with the empty carts and just drip a little of the juice on the empty cart how many drops should i go with...I know it all trail and error, but just want a good starting point...

As for cleaning the atty - I take the new ones and blow into the end that screws into the battery. Blow hard a couple of times with a paper towel or tissue held to the other end. That will blow out the fluid that is on the atty and save you from the burnt taste.
