Well finally, this has been an ordeal that just can't be explained but it's DONE. I went through every known and unknown problem imaginable. For instance if I take the icr 14500 3.7v 900mah batteries out and put in the lc 14500 3.6v 900 mah batteries in. I get 8 volts at the atty. Now that to me is crazy stuff. Anyway I'm extremely happy that I got it done, and it works like a champ.:):):):)
I just put in to try again the 3.6 v batteries and now they won't work at all and tey're fully charged. Thats the kind of stuff I've been fighting

You know, I noticed that today too in my mod I'm working on. The two Trustfires 14500 3.7 900mah are 7.95v and my two Ultrafires 14500 3.6 900mah are 8.2v. I'll have to check some 1.5v in this case...maybe 12v. lol
I did have one mod where the tip of the batt wouldn't touch the connection because some solder joints were a little too high contacting the outer edge of the batt.

Oh... and the TF's did it but not the UF's...weird.
