So, as I've mentioned in a couple of other posts, I'm in the middle of moving. As such, I'm more than a little preocupied and always late for something. When the blue flashing lights came on behind me about an hour ago, I knew before being told that I had been driving in excess of the posted speed limit. The combined facts that the officer had no neck, and a really bad attiude left me with little hope of a warning. As you would expect, the whole time that he is ticking off the things he's found to write me up over, I'm pulling at my 901 like a starving infant!
Finally, while chewing my ... over not having installed a front plate, he stops mid sentence and asks "what the hell are you sucking on"? As it turns out, he is a moderate to heavy smoker that hasn't been able to quit. He stood there at my window for 5 minutes while I told him alabout the e-cig and how well it has worked for me. I even popped in a fresh cart and let him try it. As soon as I mentioned how he could most likely get away with both keeping and using one in his car he was sold.
When he asked me where to get one, I was tempted to ask about my ticket situation first but decided to leave it up to fate and sent him in Steve's direction at puresmoker. After that, he told me how much he could have fined me but sent me on my way with a verbal.
