ok so build consists of

1 aga t3
2 my vamo
3 28g kanthal with a few different wicks
4 random tools
5 my coil jig with 3/32 drill bit
6 multimeter for proof the vamo is reading accurately

first off i love the aga t3 have nothing but good to say about it. my first rebuildable so i didnt have an in the box mind set with it from the start. i have a weird way of building but it works for me. this is just a write up to show its not impossible

heres the start all the parts ready for build if you have on you know what these are but to save time im going to just show this and youll see as we go along here.

coil jig with bit

i burn my wire to remove anything on it and i feel it is easier to work with...ok so here is the coil wrapped yeah its not perfect but it can be tweaked later on

so here is our coil awe so nice

i mount it in my jig heat it and compress it and just try and make it a little neater

next....were going to put our contact in the bottom then that oring inside the outer tube and screw it on tight not super tight but dont want it coming loose also go ahead and put the glass on and set it aside

like so

keep in mind an oring is inside there so when you put your center pin in it seals it all and causing a floating effect to keep it from shorting out....if anyone has questions feel free to ask and ill explain in better detail so now on to the coil
make your bottom leg at a right angle about like so this will make tightening it down on the center post a lot easier

then mount it ahh look at all that room to work with center it tighten it then cut the excess off then youll have this

now screw the deck on the large outer post careful not to cross thread it once thats done drop that center post in bam now were getting somewhere

next were going to tighten the contact with a flat head screw driver very carefully so we dont mess up the rubber insulatortighten it till that oring is nice and flush with the top deck about like this

watch this contact make sure its not too far up or you wont get a good connection just find a happy medium with the oring on the top deck and the 510 pin

now check this out bam grab those tiny pliers you bough at the girly craft store grab that top deck nut and gently twist it till the holes line up ohhh yeah

see nice and centered

stick the drill bit in make any adjustments

then grab that top leg and get it straightened out to meet the top post nicely like so

cut that excess and bingo ya got a coil dry burn heat it up tweak it do whatever ya got to do...

test that beauty and nice 1.9 wanted 2.0 but thats close enough and for all the skeptics meter reads .1 with nothing

and on my atty 2.0 hells yeah everythings good

test with a couple different wicks all seems to look ok theses are all dry burned top leg not too hot so it seems

settled with the ekowoll wick put power to it and yeeahhhh no hot spots camera didnt catch the vapor cause i suck as a photographer but anyway ya get the idea

later i did pull some woll out cause i fel like it was a likke chocked
keep in mind im no pro just tired of the agat3 bashing i love mine if you hate it send it to me lol feel free to question me and keep in mind first write up ever so go easy on me

Good deal .
a few tips though

that is a serious amount of wire. using a higher gauge with less wraps will give you much more vapor a lot faster.

the response time for low gauge wire used in a high resistance build is very slow, and the last pic should look like a smoke bomb going off.

in the end if you want to do a true micro style coil it is not necessary for the wick to fill the wickhole.

but overall I think your on it. vape on!

Im still working on wire size i had 32 but was too small so i got the 28 i think my happy medium will be 30 not going for micro just pratical i ended up taking a wrap or two off so it met the top post nicely, it vapes very well the pic i took sucked snapped it too early but whatever. i can get another one later. I have a 6 wrap one that is a vapor bomb but this was mostly for build tutorial purposes it is By no means a vapor chaser. Still fiddling with coil wire and diameter size. Thanks for the advice though. Any expirence with 30g? I really think it may be what i need

This is awesome, thanks very much, my AGA-T3 came in yesterday, I couldn't resist setting it up immediately but without an ohm meter and it being my first build I kind of stuffed it up using the included wire and mesh and it came to 4.5ohm once I put it on my Vamo!

I've got some EkoWool on the way though and some 30ga wire to redo it and your method looks so much easier than the way I did it so I'll be trying yours next. I'm aiming for 1.8ohm
