Heck yea....

I new there a reason I ordered Cream Cheese Icing, besides using it in my apple fritters for the first time. Also, in for the first time; Belgian Waffle and Cake Batter.

If you like cinnamon and cream cheese icing, there'a another at that recipe site, called Sinnamon Cookie Kustard (credit to Ken O'Where) that is very good - and I always add some LA Cream Cheese Icing to it when I mix a batch.

Thanks:) I like all the Flavorah flavors I've tried. Haven't tried their tobaccos yet though.
IMHO they are the best tobaccos out there as far as going from scratch. I do like some others like pur sweet tobacco and vanilla tobacco, JF ry4 and diyfs holy grail ry4 but just straight up tobacco, flv is hard to beat

Cool:thumb: Adding the ones you mentioned to my order. Holy Holy Grail and Holy Vanilla bring back memories. DIYFS is a bit down the road from me and I was there all the time when I started DIY. I learned a lot from the folks there. I need to go over there and get supplies. I think I'll pick up some HHG when I do.

I'm good to go with that one. Now I see he made a SCKv2 where he upped the VC From 4% to 5.5% and lowered the CDS from 4% to 2%. Any thoughts regarding that?

One other that is good with PST is
PST 5%, FW Butterscotch Ripple 1.5%. You can go more or less on either flavor, but I like the balance at that percentage
I mixed 7% PST and 3% Ripple, and let it age about 3 weeks, and I thought it was very nice. Well, the "magical" thing you mentioned sounds great. I should mix one up and let it sit!

I use TFA DRY4 as the main flavoring in my mix.

    Example:
    I do about 80%VG, and 6% nic - roughly...but that's all up to you.
    • 10% TFA double RY4
    • 5% TFA DX Bavarian Cream
    • 1.5% Acetyl Pyrazene

It's a simple, sweet, very slightly nutty caramel kinda thing I can vape all day.
Above comments are accurate - no real tobacco to it - but you could add that!
Started off with different percentages as a recipe someone gave me to replicate Halo Tribeca.
Careful with that "AP". Somewhere near 3%, it flips over from "slightly nutty" to "FRITOS !!!".
    :)
Thanks. I used the TFA Double at 10% by itself and liked it. As luck would have it I have some of the Bavarian Cream and I'll try that. I can't stand AP, so I'll skip that part of it.

I have not tried the V2 'cause I like the original so much. Might mix a 10ml batch of V2 and give it a try.

Shroom's Awesome Sauce (credit to Shroomalistic at that popular recipe site):

    Cinnamon Danish Swirl (CAP) 7%
    Cotton Candy (10% EM/Ethyl Maltol) (TPA) 1%
    Cream Cheese Icing (LA) 2%
    RY4 Double (TPA) 8%
    Vanilla Custard (CAP) 2%

This looks right up my alley and I have everything in my flavor stash EXCEPT the CC (10% EM)... I don't know the Hell I missed that. :?: Is there anything else that might work in its place?

Pretty sure it's a sweetener so maybe substitute some sucralose or Super Sweet?

One thing I am not is a mixologist so I basically just use other folks' recipes - maybe someone else can suggest another sub for the EM.

I'm still new to this and keep looking at 'cotton candy' as a flavor, rather than sweetener... (Rookie!)

Hey, maybe that's why I never bought it? LOL! The sweeteners I have in my arsenal are CAP Super Sweet, TPA Brown Sugar, Erythritol Solution, and OOO Powdered Sugar, so I'm sure one of them will work just fine. I may actually try it without the EM to see how much it needs. Will probably start low with Super Sweet. Thanks!

I did a bit more research on the EM (Cotton Candy) and it is described as a "caramelized sugar". In addition, some of the info I read said that the EM also softens or smooths tobacco flavors. So, I'm not sure how a substitute will work, but might be worth a 10ml batch to try it.

You're not being a rookie!:D You are actually being wise, and not even knowing it. EM, is less of a "sweetener," and more of a flavor "smoother." In that it can help to smooth/hide some harsher notes. Too much EM can become a flavor killer by muting desirable flavor notes.

Because some (many?) concentrates already contain EM in their composition; I omit EM from any new recipe I try, until I can evaluate whether additional EM is necessary. If I add extra EM, to a recipe already containing concentrates that also contain EM; I can unintentionally start muting flavors, and the recipe goes off the rails. For me, EM is the last ingredient I will reach for.

Novice DIYers can become dependent on EM, to hide over-flavoring. Instead of reducing the primary flavoring(s), which when using too much can create chemical "off" notes; they just dump in EM, to mask the fact that it is over-flavored.

When you want a sweeter e-liquid, in my opinion, you are much better off using a true sweetener... such as: CAP Super Sweet, TFA Sweetener, FLV Sweetness, stevia, erythritol, or the like.

Clay does it for you. I tried this one and the caramel/vanilla extracts are bangin'!

    www.Naturally-Extracted-Tobacco.com, e-liquids for electronic cigarettes

When I was buying pre-mixed this was one of my favorites among others and also a favorite vendor for me. Since this is a DIY thread I do not know if Clay sells the extract for his version of a RY4 so that people can mix their own though. Alternatively one can buy a number of his extracts and come up with their own mixture.

If anyone wants to try their hand at DIY mixing of NET extracts, Stixx Mixx is also very good plus not as gunky as others. I have purchased a number of his extracts. His extract prices are very good as well compared to other vendors that sell NET extracts. Stixx Mixx

Added: There are some recipes using Stixx Mixx extracts on E L R so just search "Stixx Mixx".

I didn't even realize what thread I was in. Thx for pointing that out. He does sell his extracts and would most likely accommodate your requests if that's what you wanted.

I am interested in trying Stixx Mixx extracts as there is something in TPA Ry4 D called Cyclotene and I must be sensitive to it because I absolutely detest the flavour for some reason. I notice it in their Caramels and Brown Sugar also and it tastes like mothballs and old boot polish to me,that is the only way I can describe it. I would really like a tobacco flavour that doesn’t have this flavour and is mild and smooth,I can always add my own caramels etc. I have also thought about making my own Ry4 mix with different brands of concentrates, any help would be greatly appreciated.

@Lucas J Holden, this is why I brought up NET's. As from my understanding, RY4 is supposed to be a Vanilla Caramel Tobacco. Which you should be able to use a NET to create.
Thank you for bringing it up,I shall delve into this more thoroughly so I can educate myself further and find something that suits my tastes.
