Ha! I can't even see anyone saying that the button resembles that of the protege or even the unit. Looks nothing like it. Did you see the picture of the two sitting next to each other? ;)

Think you may have taken my post the wrong way a little. I don't think they look anything alike either...but you'll always have the clowns that will try to make it seem like you ripped your design off of someone elses. Protege was just an example...not really saying it looks like the protege. :)

I want whatever button will put one of these bad boys right into my shopping cart faster!

P.S.
It looks nothing like the Protege switch whatsoever...lol

Im with you.

I have a great idea- lets suggest a change on a nearly finished product before you or anyone has a chance to use it because your worried about it activating in your pocket. Why do people even worry about that- I carry my PVs in my pocket all the time and not once has it ever gone off. If your worried about it- ummm dont carry it in you pocket.

Keep it how it is- the finish looks amazing- the button looks awesome- I want one quick. How long until this beast goes on sale- also I bet this will out sell the protege anyways. how many different ways can a round push button look anyways- who give a shiz "hey you stole my round button idea."

I think I read that this has a USB port correct? or did that idea get scratched or am I imaging that it was going to have a USB?

It goes on presale on the 11/9/09 and hopefully will Launch 11/16/09, and the bottom portion (PT) will be available shortly after. Need to finalize a few things before it goes in production ;)

sweet- will this be a limited presale or will it be available up until shipping date? im pretty broke for the month of november (bad month) would it be better to wait until they include the usb- or will the usb be a add-on feature anyways?

rob you know a price range yet?
The USB is an add on feature, I am hoping I have enough made. With any new product it is hard to predict its popularity.

My prediction is the USB add on is going to be extremely popular. Especially since Puresmoker just announced, basically, the same concept with their Protege Mod8-o. The main reason I pre-ordered the BB is the forthcoming USB add-on option. Not that the BB isn't a beautiful device on its own, but this is a major innovative step in Mod history. Basically, all 3 voltages available in one device with just a quick switch-a-roo. 14500 battery for 3.7V, 2 CR2's for 6V(which the Protege is apparently not capable of), then the 5V(sweet spot) option with the PT add-on. Also the ability to go from sedentary(at home, in front of computer, etc...) vaping with the PT add-on; to on-the-go vaping with one of the battery options.
The janty stick would be the closest concept, except it's 3.7V only with battery or PT.
