I am making a bold, public proclamation, that Friday, my 46th birthday, will be my D-day. As in DONE with analogs. After a month of vaping, I am down to about 4 or 5 a day, those morning and after-meals smokes are the hardest to give up.
I am feeling optimistic. Especially since I started adding passionflower to my nic mix, am totally getting that cig. calm after vaping.
I will tell myself that I can have a cig. whenever I want. And when the urge hits, I will add a few drops of my homemade PF extract to my vape and remind myself how much better off I am without the analogs.
Well, that's it. Happy 46th birthday to me (and Brad Pitt)... and hopefully many more!

Thank you so much AngelVapor. I have quit many times before, as most here have. I have never tooted my own horn as I never had the hope that e-cigs give. But, I really think I stand a chance now. So many just quit outright after the e-cig and never look back, I admire them for it. I seemed to need to work up to it, I do believe now is the time. Birthdays are always good for a fresh start!

I hope all is going well for you in the new year, WMZ!

(No shame if your B-Day/D-Day push didn't totally succeed, though. It's all about progress, not perfection. :))

Meals are a tough one for me too. I've had to move to more frequent mini-meals instead of larger ones or else I get the huge urge to have an after-meal smoke.
