Well I bit the bullet and paid a pretty penny for some of these HH357's. I read and watched YouTube clips and had to try them.

I'm not going to go into a lot of detail here but I have one thing to say if anyone's interested. buy the long barrel. I foolishly bought one regular sized and one long barrel (no idea why)

As most of you may know these atties prone to spitting. I put a swivel drip tip on the short one to hopefully prevent any spitting but alas my fear came true. The short hh357's do spit quite a bit. To me this is a deal breaker, I don't want to have to mod an atty to make it work properly or break it in for two weeks while suffering scolding hot liquid on my tongue.

This brings me back to my original point. The long barrel hasn't spit on me once using a regular drip tip. The flavors are amazing, the vapor is amazing as well. There's not much more to say but I figured if anyone's interested in ordering one, skip the shorter barrel IMO. I have no complaints thus far on the longer barrel, I just wished I would have gotten two of them instead. There is little to no learning curve from my brief experience other than, take quick, sharp draws and be amazed. I'd rather take a quick short pull and get the same amount of vapor versus a long, slow draw, but that's just me.

Also, avidvaper was super fast in shipping these to me, no hassles whatsoever. So yeah, just a quick heads up for anyone considering them. I'll update this thread in time as to how it keeps performing and if it was worth the price. But so far, great flavor and tons 'o vapor.

Try a drip tip with a wider hole on your short barrel - when I was using the HH.357 I had the notorious spitting problem and it drove me nuts. One day I took an old 510 cartridge, popped off the top and used it as a drip tip; not a single spittoon of juice came out. Super T has a few wide hole DTs, as does GoodSenseVapor.com (the makers of the 306 DCA).

Give it a shot with an old 510 cartridge first to see if it works for you.

Will definitely give that a try, thanks.

So far I am really enjoying this atty and I am not so sure I'll be able to go back to regular Joye 510's. The biggest thing for me is the vapor production, I absolutely love taking those short long pulls and producing a crap ton of vapor. Secondly the flavors are all phenomenal, just super clean and completely full flavored.

Definitely a winner in my books.

So you used one of these and it still ricocheted onto your tongue? Dang.

Yup, I used a knucklehead. I broke down and did the short barrel mod (debridge an atty and put the bridge into your drip tip) It works and all but the juice is still pooling at the top of the drip tip and therefore getting all over my mouth. It might not be spitting/burning my tongue but I still get a crap ton of juice in my mouth which I absolutely hate.

I'll revisit that atty again I am sure, but right now the long barrel is working too well so I can't be bothered. Without a doubt I will not use any other atty if/until something better comes out? The HH.357 is a game changer.

No experience with the HH357 but over on the vmod thread there is some lengthy discussion comparing the HH357 to the vapage Hybrid BF (which I do have lots of experience with).

The Vapage Hybrid is simply amazing. It's specifically designed for the vmod bottom feeder but I love dropping that thing on my provari and dripping. The flavor is killer with that thing, it's held up for a long time and although still pricier than a standard atty, it's still way cheaper than the HH357.

Even if you don't have a vmod (which I do recommend :) ) the Hybrid BF is a great atty for the drippers among us.
