Very sharp... Maybe I am shaking more than I think I am. I should just bite the bullet and buy an Olloclip. Great article - thanks for linking me. I even got to learn about a shocking French video when I was done reading.

Yeah I found the act of pressing to take the photo moved it enough to blur it. So for any close up shots I rest phone against something, for top down shots I rest if on a box or book edge. even then I have to really concentrate on not moving the phone when I press for the photo. Also zooming in magnifies any shake, sometimes it's better to zoom out a little and then crop.

By the way, tell me more about that coil!

When I first got the RM2 I only had 32ga wire I was using VV mods. I could not get low enough ohm coils with the single wire. This is just 32ga folded over to create two wires and wrapped with them in parallel. IIRC that is 9 wraps 1.2 or 1.3 ohm coil. I'm now playing with 26, 28, 30 kanthal and 28 and 30 nichrome. I've also ordered some of the ribbon to make the Mundy monster wire. I got the Darkzero Jig and making coils is addicting some days I try 6 different coils.

I know what you mean about the coil jig I got one too and now I make spares for fun and I have a small box with pre made coils already lol

Thanks - I have been frustrated with my camera ever since I started taking beauty pics of micro coils.

You can take a photo at whatever the closest distance is that gives a sharp photo. After that just crop the photo in on your subject. You don't have to use many pixels to have a good photo for the internet. So shoot sharp then crop in.
