My Buzz won't work :(

I don't know what happened it was fine this morning when I got up and about a half hour later it won't fire. If I take the atty or carto off the light is blue. If I put a atty or carto on the light is red. Any body have any idea what's goin on with it?

Maybe.....Try unscrewing the top cap...after that, tighten down the screw on the inside of the cap...this has helped me!!!!

I had a similar issue recently and Buzz walked me through it. Make sure all your connections are clean, no juice, no debris. Then check your batteries...

My issue ended up with being a dying battery. I tossed that set, put new ones in and all was well.

Have you tried a totally different atty/carto? I had a carto that was going out and that happened. New carto was the answer.

Thanx for the help. I did send Mike a message on the website. I did change batteries this morning gonna try that. I did try every atty and carto I have. Oh and I did wipe all the connections with a alchol pad

Ya know I did notice my charger on one side gets done faster than the other side. Is this normal?

It makes me sad to hear your baby is sick. No doubt that Mike will either be able to walk you through a fix, or have you send it to his hospital.

So does mine Kellie...sometimes if you turn the batt a little in the charger the light will go back to red / charging. That's pretty normal. You might also wipe off the ends of your batts and the contacts on your charger.

Changin the batteries didn't help I miss my baby. Good thing I kept a couple of egos. Since I felt the need to give most everything away

Too bad, my Buzz has been my mainstay PV since I got it, and it's been totally problem free. I use it if my eyes are open! No problems just roatating batts with a second freshly recharged set. I think it could be a charger/batt problem, or maybe a regulator circuit issue. I have not ever noticed any set of my batts taking longer than the other to fully recharge. They seem to be very much identical in terms of recharge times. That may be happening, but if it is it can't be more than a 5 minute difference. I suspect a batt issue, but I'm guessing.

Sounds like batteries to me. It worked, then it stoped. The charger is charging off balance. And it can't take a load.

I have her checking the internal connection first then we will switch up the batts and see what happens , most likely the batteries are not fully charged for some reason ? may be a so so charger or ?

YAY My Buzz is working again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanx Mike . I gotta admitt I was kinda scared me and fixing things are not a good combo. But all is well with a few turns of the screwdriver. My baby is all better. God I'm spoiled. I had to use my egos all day at work and they suck now lol

The batteries that were causing me my problem weren't fully recharging for some reason. I tried to re-charge them after "the episode". Not sure how long they sat on the charger before turning green, but I did check them with the VM them coming off fresh. They were both at 3.2v They were the gray, ultras 16340 3.6v, BTW. Same charger seems to be charging my other sets OK (knock on wood).

They are history now.

Sorry, Late as usual. I have had problems with ultrafires before too that's why I only use trustfires now and have no problems.

I heard of some person who didn't realize that the 138 charger is a switching charger and they had it set at 3v so the battery was not charging to capacity.
