I ordered some empty 808 cartomizers a while back as well as an adapter to work for my 510 connections. I am more of a dripper and I hate using cartridges. Because the cartos are similar to cartridges in the fact that they both use the poly-fill to hold liquid I was a little hesitant to give them a try.

Well last Sunday night my last 510 atty died on me and me being the hard head that I am, I didn't have any left because I kept putting off buying any. So while I am waiting on for my 510 atties to show up, I had no choice but to get my 808 cartomizers out and give them a try. I am amazed at how much better they work than just regular cartridges. I mean WOW. Even when I filled a regular cartridge to the top I was not getting nearly the amount of hits of that compared to these 808s.

I am still going to go back to dripping when my atties get here, but I can see how convenient the cartomizers would be when you are out on the go or in the car driving. I have now started looking into getting some regular 510 cartomizers so I can get rid of the adapter.

I'd recommended picking up some cartomizers for anyone who hasn't tried them.

I don't have a lot of extra supplies as far as liquid or atties go. I am ok with that, because I got what I need. I'm not asking for anyone to send me anything. I just see how helpful this group is and because I don't have a lot of supplies or extra money to help people out I thought I share some of the knowledge I am learning as I get to try out new things.

They can take awhile to "break in". Keep giving them a chance unless you want to try the 510 cartos :)

Id say the one I am using is broken in. I am getting good clouds from it and the throat it is pretty good.

Overall I would say the vapor production and throat hit as as strong as dripping but I think the flavor is better when you drip than with the cartomizer I am using.

I didn't much like cartos when I was still using standard (3.2V) 510 batteries. It wasn't until I switched to true 3.7V devices that the cartos really started to shine. They run at a higher resistance than 510 attys and you need the extra half-volt to get them to perform properly. Now I use cartos on my bartleby exclusively when I'm outside the house. They are so convenient that I couldn't imagine going back to regular 510 carts.

I didn't have great luck w/ the 808 cartos via adapter on my 510. Still not having a ton of luck w/ them on my Indulgence.

510 cartos rock my face off though!

what issue were you having with them?....phenominally hard draw perhaps?...
depends on the adapter... but the silver 3 piece ones... the draw can be adjusted..
just take the adapter off and unscrew or screw the slot on the 901/808 side wnad it'll move the center post on both ends and open or tighten the draw..

Early versions of the indulgence had problems with the 901 adapter with KR808 cartos. The first version with the separate caps for each adapter had the connector recessed into the cap. Since the 808 cartos draw air from notches in the bottom edge of the carto, and those notches are recessed into the cap when it's screwed into place, the draw was terrible. Even after they switched to the connector inserts with the single cap, the first batch of 901 connectors had the air holes blocked with glue. You need to take a pin and clean out the air holes in the connector to get a proper draw. Newer batches (like the one I have) don't exhibit these problems. I have no problem with cartos on my indulgence.

The draw for me on my 510 was WAY too light, and I got flavor, but no vapor and it felt like I was just sucking on an open tube.

On the Indulgence, I'm getting a similar experience. I may just need to work the connector into shape. At first, I could get 808 cartos to screw on tight, and after trying a few different ones, they started to screw on fully.

This is a mini-thread jack, but can you adjust the draw on the connector for the Indulgence like I've now seen in a few vids for the 510 -> 808 adapter?
