Very good work teach I like your posts, you might wanna shorten your chamber to get that throat numbing feel of hot vapor, chamber should be no taller than .500 from bottom of cap to too on the inside of the tube. Flavor and th are enhanced this way

Thanks urquidezj, I was thinking of making a couple of different lengths to vary for mood. I do like the longer chamber for it's smooth and cool draw though. Thanks for the ideas.

Hey! Maybe you can cancel the GotVapes order - it is ONLY a shell. I just received 4 of the mothers from them. And yes, their ad IS a bit deceiving! Still, I'll make it work; see my previous post.

Thanks for the answer on this. It's to late though. Shipped this morning and just saw this. OK so I am screwed on that. Thanks for the heads up, guess I WILL put another order in (need some type B tanks anyways). What the heck am I supposed to use that shell for if it doesn't include a giantomizer? and why do they sell it? That will be the last order from them, their site is just to confusing IMO. I guess I can mod those using my own 510 connections and large syringes.

You learn something new every day. I have been using SS wicks for a long time and have just rolled them in my fingers without using a paperclip or needle, no hole, all my repairable attys feed from the top down helped by gravity and felt it wasn't needed and could cause flooding. Even my regular line because it has a fill hole I never rolled a wick with a hole. Now with my "cheap line" I fill thru the wick with a needle and am convinced the hole adds immensely to the wicking action. The rising hot air draws the juice up, you can actual see it come out the top of the hole and boil, it even pumps out miniature smoke rings.Going to put a new wick with a hole on the regular line if I ever go back to it.:)

What material did you use for electrodes?

Those are m1.6 Pan Head machine screws (ACE hardware) and nuts. The springs hold the kanthal in place with just a wrap (once you've adjusted the tensioning nut.)

I turned delrin base to fit into the threaded tube join ring, made a silicone seal to stop top leaks then ran the siiver wire up from the 510 connector to attach to the screw posts.

Gotvapes used to cary a 'Maximizer Giantomizer' something carto - it had 510 threads inside the skirt - if you pushed the guts apart you ended up with the same kind of base with 510 threads and separate skirt and separate tank - the metal part was just a sleeve. there was a v1 that leaked through the window and the v2 that worked much better.
i took several apart and used the metal sleeve for other things and used the carto part minus the ego skirt on a box mod. they looked just like a gotvapes Vision giant carto with the metal removed. looks like they dont carry them anymore. kinda obsolete with the vision out now but i liked them lol
also a ideal instruments 6ml syringe fit perfect.

That's what I'm going to do homie. I will make a 'Genisis-Line' from the shell. I have 4 of them so plenty of room to play around with. I was asking myself the same thing: "WTF? What kind of carto or atomizer goes in this??" when I got the order and ripped the package open.. LOL. Of course, these things just take time. I have to 'see' the finished product in my mind before I can make it. I finally got the picture yesterday evening while sitting here vaping.
Notice you're from VA. What city? I lived in Norfolk, Charlottesville and Lynchburg before moving away for good. Just curious.
O yea, and while I'm at it, the shell has some thin plastic sheet covering the slots on each side. It LEAKS. I'm looking at hitting up Home Depot or Lowe's for a plastic tubing that will fit inside it. Just sayin' this is where I'm at now with this thing.

Alžběta Madragana, I am near Kings Dominion, North of Richmond, Va. Came to the Commonwealth because of the Navy, and didn't leave after I retired from active service. Spent a lot of time in Norfolk also.

Well I took an old ego batt shell, syringe case, some tapestry needles, CE2, and have a start for a line on the cheap. Can't find my stash of heat shrink (still a teenager in the house and everything has feet), so I will finish that part as soon as I get out and get some. My batt shell screws down onto the eGo threads, then the tank drops down and screws into the 510 connection. My only problem is a setup for a top/mouthpiece. That hopefully will be resolved when I get these "shells".

Please tell me the shell screws down onto the eGo threading. If not, I got it covered as a took the threading inerds from a cone.
