my coil ohms?

so i made dual coils in my rda sparkle bullet and its saying i made 3.0 ohms? its just a basic 8 wraps 24 gauge kanthal wires i took 1 out and hitting it at 40 watts its fine but just 1 coil is reading at 1.0 ohms is my ohms reader messed up?

Sure you're not using 28 ga kanthal?

8 wraps of 28 ga would give you 1 ohm. Based on an inside diametr of 1.33 mm.

That would be a hard mix up, but could be done.

I found my cheap/beginner ohm reader was way off the mark so it may be the meter.

At that ohm reaing for 24guage it sound wrong.
Are you sure your rda is making connection with the positive pin on your mod properly? Sometimes when mine isn't the ohms will read higher than they really are. Do you have a another ohm meter you can test it on?

Check your legs and screws make sure everything is making contact correctly. if both coils by themselves are 1 ohm they should be .5 together.

yeah the screw and everything are fine and the legs and im positive its 24 gauge i don't really like wrapping with 28 gauge because its so small but yeah now its 1.7 ohms im not sure whats wrong with my ohm reader or if its the coil how its rapped it seems also as its harder to pull on for more smoke like i use to only have to pull for around 4 seconds for a cloud now im pulling for like 10 seconds maybe longer anyone know what the problem is? should i just rewrap it and try the ohm reader again? i don't have a spare one

Yeah try a rebuild and if the problem is still there it is likely your reader.

yeah its saying .67 now with just a single 24 gauge coil

If it's bouncing around like that, you might have a loose connection. Check your 510 pin to make sure it's tight.

That or you had lose connection on wire mounting screws

Do not calculate ohms by number of wraps. Get an ohm meter.
