Yes, that's right. But when I hold mine like that, it burns my finger sometimes.
I must be doing it wrong then. I'm not getting any burns. I think I might be jealous.
Also, when I have this aligned this way, my coil is at 6 o'clock. Is that still right?
Wait so your air hole is OPPOSITE your coil?
You have the o ring in there right? Flip the air hole to 12 I clock too

I clearly have no clue what I'm doing lol. But, yes. coil is 6 oclock, airhole is 12oclock, and button is 12 oclock. Working now to flip it around.
The I ring should allow you to position the cap.. You don't need to wrench the cap on

I think her air hole is facing the button because she vapes with the button up and pushes it with her index finger. Brooks, your airhole is right by the juice hole, right? I think she's saying her whole atty is turned so that the airhole (and the wick) is by her firing button....which is in the 12o'clock position when she vapes.
Edit: Oops. I missed a post. Yes, the airhole has to be right by the coil, no matter how the whole RM2 is oriented on the REO. That's why it's not working as well as the Woodie.

I should change the title of this thread to reos for dummies. But, it is working. The only thing I see is towards the tail end of one hit after squonking it's running dry. When I had the coil at 6oclock, because of the way it was tilted, seems like it didn't run dry.
Hehe... It was sitting in a puddle, is why. But it shouldn't be running dry after one hit.... Maybe your wick is too dense, and it's choking the coil a bit?

I'll have to tinker with it a bit more to figure it all out. I've gone through more than half a bottle in like 2 hours of "testing" so I've got to give myself a bit of a break. lol. I moved everything to 6oclock. The coil, and airhole are at 6 and my button is at 12 when firing. I'm not getting dry hits with this alignment now even though I have a feeling it's all wrong lol.
If you vape with the button between you and the RM2 then the air hole should be at 12.
If you vape with the RM2 between you and the button then the air hole should be at 12.
The air hole should always be facing away from you.
The coil and the air hole in the cap should be facing each other on the nearest point between the two. Usually if you screw the cap down the air hole lines up pointing between the posts where your coil is. You can check this by holding your atty with your coil facing you. Screw the cap on without moving the bottom of the atty. When its screwed all the way down it should line up facing you and thus facing the coil.

I guess i'm in the minority here. On my grand, (w/ Cyclone), I vape it with the button facing away from me at 12 o'clock with my index finger on the firing button. My air hole and coil is situated at 8 o'clock. I can usually get 3-4 5 second hits before I have to squonk again. If I turn it around and vape it I am lucky to get 2 hits before needing to squonk...
I vape the same way as you! That's exactly how I hold it.

I vape it however I grab it. All seems to work fine no matter orientation of reo or air hole. As long as air hole is on coil should be good to go. Drips out the air hole are a different story.
