Not feeling the Mini.....

Doesn't Vape the same. I tried my 306 and 510's on it. Just doesn't Vape like my Grand. Is there a learning curve to the Mini? Also, after the grand, it feels small in my hand. Not sure I like that.

What kind of battery are you using and did you test the voltage fresh off the charger?
Don't know how to test for voltage. I'm using 14500.

I have one on there. LR 510. Even used my last LR 306 on it. Just not liking it.

It is possible that the 14500 vaping just doesn't do it for you, Susan 
There are some 14500 batteries that don't perform as well as the AWs and that would make a difference. But if you're used to the 18650, I am not surprised if the 14500 is missing the mark. There is no shame in not liking the Mini.

Thinking that the 14500 isn't for me. I like the hit on my Grand. Never put her down. Think Rob would let me trade the mini in for another one?

Sorry you aren't loving your mini...not everyone does. That is one reason Rob makes a variety of mods to fill our needs. Your best bet is to sell it in the classifieds but CAUTION: There are some scammers there like anywhere else so I would advise selling it only to someone who has been around and is well thought of on the forums..less risk. OR the REO forum has a thread for trading. Someone else may want to do a trade....Might be just me I guess, but I wouldn't even ask Rob to do a trade. He is a nice guy and all but it IS now a used mod..just sayin'.

I am a 18650 guy myself 14500s are not for everyone . I would trade a new mod but I don't have any use for used mods
I agree that the Mini isn't as nice in the hand as the Grand but thats personal preference..size of your hand, whats comfortable to hold etc.
I have switched atomizers back and forth from a mini to a grand and really don't find a difference in vaping or if there is its so small as for me not to notice it. Thats with freshly charged batteries in each Reo.
I am wondering about the 14500 battery that you have. What kind is it. Is it an IMR? AW IMR 14500 are recommended. Also is it a brand new battery. New batteries can take a few charge , recharge cycles to get up to snuff.
As a side note I would buy a multimeter if I were you. I was hesitant to buy one myself but now that I have one I would be lost without it.

Itrainer: thanks for the advice. Gonna look into the multimeter. I have IMR AW's. Not new. Used to use them in my BB. Didn't like that one either. Guess I'm an 18650 gal.

I find the mini vapes exactly like the grand ..... for the first 25 minutes or so ..... Thats precisely why I own four 18650 REOs and one 14500 REO that rarely gets used.

So true Margie what ever works I have customers that love there mini mods you couldn't tell them there was a better mod and the vapor pigs like Tim and myself who have to have that little extra to keep the monster at bayI am a confirmed Mini gal; the Grand is too bulky for me. Sounds like you're a Grand gal...there is no shame in having a preference.

yeah list that puppy in the classies, someone trustworthy will take it off your hands no problem. if you aren't afraid to mod the mod, some folks are cutting hl's in the back of the mod to allow for another battery... 18490 I think.
