How the heck do you Vape at 5v on a Reo?

Sent from my iPhone using one hand while vaping with my Reo on the other thru Tapatalk.

With 4.8 batteries
4.8V NiMH 600mah Battery

I'd recommend at least three to rotate and you'll need the charger for them too. :)

You wanted to know if there was a learning curve for using the Mini because it doesn't vape like your Grand. Yes, there is a learning curve for using any mod so that the user derives the maximum output of that mod. But, No, there is not any way to make a mini vape just like a grand. Mini's are not miniture grands; they are Mini's. That said, there are many ways you can alter the output of any given mod (particularly if you are starting with the best quality mod). You can try different attys and different juice (and make up of that juice), and different airflow, and different resistances in your attys (regular, 2.0, 1.8, 1.5) and different brands of attys. But, no matter what you do, a Mini is never going to be a Grand. Something about the 18650 battery gives the Grand some sort of extra power that simply makes for more plentiful and warmer vaper.

I value each of my Reos for the specific characteristics that make it convenient or useful for a given situation. The Grand, because of its size, weight, and color (shiny purple!), stays home when it wouldn't be convenient to carry or conceal it. For me, that means lots of my work time. It is best used at my desk or at home where I can relish its warmth and huge clouds or vaper. The Mini gets to go almost everywhere I go. It's easy to conceal in my hand or pocket. I can draw long and deep, slow inhales and get significant vaper; or I can do a more controlled vape and double inhale, if necessary to stealth vape.

The Mini Woodvil vapes differently than the Reo Mini despite the fact that they use the same battery, same atomizer, same juice, and same person (me). I don't know why; it just is. It's slightly larger and lighter in weight and has rounded corners, but I don't see how any of those things would make it vape differently. Maybe it's the wood; but if so, I don't understand it. I just love it.

My advice, were you asking, would be to stop trying to get the Mini to vape just like a Grand and enjoy what its more subtle hit is like. Take a week or two and tweak the atty, juice (try 100% VG from Alien Vision for a great Reo vape), and style of vaping. Do you usually inhale for a couple of seconds or does it seem to go on forever? Try a different style of being yourself. If, then, you still are not fond of what you can get with the Mini as the Mini, come back to the Swaps thread and see if any of us wants to trade. If not, sell it in the classifieds for what you paid for it. Take others' advice here on how to avoid scammers.

You may just be a Grand style vaper; and in this forum, you're in good company. And there is no problem with that.

From what I've read, the woods vape differently from the metals because the woods use copper wiring, whereas the metals are pure mechanical. The copper transfers the power better.

Question. I'm using my new Mini. Not really liking it. Love my Grand. Just something about the Mini, not feeling it. Doesn't Vape the same. Maybe I'm not a Mini user? Anyone have any advice?

There are slight differences with the Voltages between the Grand and mini. First, when both are not under load there is only a very SLIGHT difference between the two:

Grand

Mini

The biggest difference I found was when you put both under load:

Mini

So, all in all. Yes the mini does run a slight bit cooler than the grand. Which is why it's better to use 1.5-1.8 ohm atties on them. That way you'll get a little bit more heat and TH.

Both the Mini and grand ...Are Beasts >>>Plain and simple Rugged mods that just work i like too think off Robs mods as the Craftsman tools of vaping you cant get any better and they pretty much have a lifetime warranty

Woodvils=Art beauty craftsmanship and yet they are super rugged and durable and vape like no other

But also to OP just hang on to that little mod you never know when it will come in handy to have a super small stealth juice fed mod that with a lr306 cisco and a high drain has volcanos of vapor!
