I know this review has been a long time coming. I had to actually go back and make sure I didn't already do one.

I really wanted to spend a goodly amount of time with this device before I did a review. There's a reason....

I knew I was going to gush like a highschool boy in the 70's would about his Farrah Fawcett poster.

I had stars in my eyes the second I signed for, then opened the package from Greece. It contained every option. All adapters, and the "bling" endcaps. There was no way I was going to do an objective review. I needed time to come up with any negatives. And I do have a few, but they are minor and there's an accompanying caveat for each one. Lets get those out of the way first:

*The metal does tarnish, so you will need to keep polishing it.

Caveat: There's something enjoyable about polishing it (keep your mind in the gutter. It's fun). Also, once you have the brass endcaps to a high luster, they fade to this really neat color as the metal gets dark, but the smoothness remains and it looks damn cool.

*If you are obsessive compulsive like me, it will bother you that all seams do not line up perfectly.

Caveat: The stainless caps DID line up perfectly. It was the "bling" brass caps that did not. If you put the unit together in your favorite configuration, remove the button, get some sandpaper, and spin it in your hand (and give up on the laser etching. It will be gone) it can be made perfect fairly easily. I did mine while watching Inglourious Basterds. Also, this is only because I'm ..... Left completely alone and unshinned, it is still simply the most beautiful PV made.

*If you use it in public around stuffier types, some people will assume it is an illegal drug device. I've actually been asked a few times if I'm the bravest man alive, and if the button is where you put "the stuff".

Caveat: Ok, there really isn't one. My hope is that the device gains a bunch of fame to the point that most people recognise it as a nicotine delivery system. Until then, I use the Prodigy in public. It arouses less suspicion.

And that's about it. Otherwise, the GG Transformer is slowly becoming my "old reliable". It's no secret that I have a whole bunch of PV's. This is how I use them. The Prodigy is the only one that leaves the house (except for the Adaptever with 510. It stays in the car). The rest occupy their own places of honor on my coffee table next to the 15ml glass bottles of the particular juice they are being fed. Even The Prodigy has its own place of honor, and is sat there when I get home at the end of a work day along with the flavor I'm putting in it. However.....

The GG Transformer has the place right where my hand falls along with all its adapters, and sleeves, and about 10 to 15 bottles of juice.

Because it's my go-to mod. I can change my mind on what I feel like in a moment's notice. This goes for voltage, atomizer, flavor, etc. There are certain configurations that are so wonderful I like them permanent. I *have* to have a dedicated 6V 510 with double flavor Dunhill with a light bit of menthol in it. That's the Silver Bullet. I *have* to have The Copper RN4081 at six volts for Cream mixed with Coffee and a hint of mint. I have to have the Prodigy with a BE112 and cart filled with Cashcap for movies. Lately, I've discovered how great RN4075's are at 5V so I've been doing some of that. But some whim? The GG Transformer is a whim machine.

Right now, it's a dse901 dripping Pepsi mixed with cream set for six volts. Over the weekend, it was an RN4075 set for 3.7V with a cr123a in nano-mode with some PS Marlboro. Damn good vape. So it's flavor. Or it's throat hit I'm after. Or I want a second 801 because I'm chain vaping while drunk and I'm heating up the Prodigy enough to get worried, so I'm trading off with the GG. Thing is, if I was not insanely spoiled for mods. If I wasn't going out of my way to make this habit as decadent as possible. If I wasn't milking the raw blasphemy of owning this many mods, there's no doubt in my mind that I would not be bored if the GG Transformer was my only mod. I could suck it up and set it up as a nano and palm it in public, or get a cheap 510. I'd really really really miss my Prodigy though.

The device itself works every bit as well as you'd assume any device of its kind should. The button is lockable, and feels wonderful. It's rather light and reasonably compact depending on what batteries you are using. The adapters work fantastic. The spring system, switching, and battery handling mechanisms are both elegant and simple. There just isn't anything to break here. It's very durable. And when shined to a high luster, it looks like something Abraham Lincoln might have used. Very timeless. Very classy. You start to prefer the button position. I do love the convenience and ergonomic comfort of the Prodigy button, but there's something slick and ritualistic about that little metallic *tink* noise when you do your nearly effortless GG pinky tap. You start to love the thing like you do a favorite type of older car, or a favorite pocket knife or watch. This is real. It's not rabid fanboyism. It's a pride in ownership that you feel, and a lot of the owners of Imeo's devices can confirm it's real. That being said....

There's the perception that "these are all just battery boxes". And that's true to a point. That's what they are for. So they have to bring something else to the table other than powering up an atomizer correctly. The GG Transformer does that. It does something *unique*. It has more potential battery/atomizer combinations than any other PV made. It can be so many different devices. Is that an important feature to you? If so, this is your mod. And if that's not important, there are less expensive alternatives that are also very well made that also bring unique things to the table.

Hope this helps. Feel free to ask any questions.
