Bear is part Wolfhound and part Schnauzer.
He had just come home from emergency surgery for bloat.
It was his second near-death experience in a year's time.
Not long after this happened, he was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.
Wouldn't you know it...with treatment the tumor went away!
Bear is still alive...he's a very happy dog, so it's not surprising he was able to beat the Big C.
