You never said what time zone it was ending in... and I just HAD to get in a pic of the only living things in my place now besides me (and a few of my 'science projects' growing in the fridge... lol)

A had a pair of Dwarf African frogs (Flotsam and Jetsam) for quite a few years... and when they were both gone, all that was left was a snail I had recently purchased. It promptly ate my plants in the tank and then started reproducing (I didn't know they could do that with just one... ha!!) Fast forward to 5 years later and dozens of generations of snails, and I have what I affectionately refer to as my "Floating Snail Garden"... since I feed them bits of lettuce and they literally float around on the surface while they eat it.... plus they even do tricks!! :2cool:

They were in an upside-down pyramid or V formation here, but by the time I got my camera the middle snail had dropped off... :( It's hard to see, but there is nothing on top of the water but pieces of lettuce.

Using the lettuce as ballast, they can be seen rising quickly to the top and/or dropping to the bottom at times.... I can almost imagine hearing the little snail voices going "Weeeee!!"

They are more fun to watch than Sea Monkeys, and have given me many hours of endless enjoyment...

(my kitchen is behind there and the background on the tank is a collection of stickers off of fruit and veggies)
