Exactly, Especially for my dad. Turning a computer on is a task for me to explain. My mom was easy with vaping. She got my iTaste vv/vw v3 and I got her from a pack a day to 3 cigarettes. Which only are smoking in the morning waking up and at night before sleeping. My dad, no so much. I know he dipped and smoked a lot when I was younger like I did. Then he switched to smoking twice as much when he stopped dipping. After his gum problems.

I'll see what Jan thinks first, I can always save addresses and send them back if it doesn't work.
I know he lately he's been on a kick of 1 pack of Pall Mall blues and 1 pack of pall mall menthol a day.

Danny, I sent you a PM suggesting an eGrip. My daughter has little kids and does NOT want to jump into vaping with a REO for many of the same reasons your dad has.....doesn't want to set up a charging station for batteries, does not want to learn all about voltage and ohms and rebuilding, etc. I got her a little eGrip by Joyetech and it seems to be hitting the spot. They charge with a micro USB, they have little changeable heads you just screw into a base, they have a built-in tank that feeds the atty that is at the bottom of the unit, so no squonking.

There have been some pretty cool innovations lately that work for newbies. My daughter likes hers. It's better than an eGo/clearomizer rig, but not as complicated as a REO (as uncomplicated as that is!) so...that was my suggestion.

I am very sorry to hear of your loss and the fact that you are going thru cancer treatment. Ive been thru treatment myself years ago and its hard but a positive attitude always makes it more effective. With chemo (not sure if that's what your getting) there is a possibility of mouth sores and it was recommended to use mouthwash frequently. I did not experience ant problems myself, but I wonder if the pg possibly helps "disinfect".

I wish ya all the best in the near future!

I'm really not sure why I'm de-lurking to join in this particular thread because I know absolutely nothing about Reo or Reoville. But, CatMommy, your screen name caught my attention and your story touched my heart. Guess I just wanted to say that this old catdaddy (owned by a house full of them) is both sorry for your losses and appreciative of your strength & will to carry on without returning to the smokes.

I lost both my parents to cruel cancers. Also lost way too many of my "kids" over the years. Me and my cathouse crew are sending all the vibes and good wishes we can offer.

Peace and Purrs

Thank you, Gil. I'm so sorry to hear of your tragic loss. You're right, we must endure. I plan to do just that and I'll send some prayers up for you and yours.

It was many years ago though I promise it does get easier as time passes. I am glad your back in town because we all missed you. ;)

Thank you Fishcakes, I'm going to try Jan's suggestion on it and hope that helps. Plus some unflavored in a higher nicotine level to see if it helps him as well. Looks like an amazing setup and an easy one to use.

No worries man.:D I hope it works. Start a thread or something when you get it to him to keep us all updated

Will do, be off topic for the Reo forum, but it's from a user everyone knows. Sitting with him today, he's smoked a half a pack in the last 2 hours, he's turning into my uncle that would chain vape cigarettes.

Sorry for your losses CatMommy. As you said you have made it thru some tough times, with some more to go, hopefully the Dr's are right, just an interruption in your life. It's amazing how the feel of a Reos in your hand, with a good juice in a time of stress is calming. Best wishes to ya lady! :)

Damn that's hard stuff stuff cat mommy. You are strong and resilient though. Having endured so much and now facing your own challenge yet you seem so mellow through it all. I like it. What an inspiration to guys like me who at the age of like 25 cried like a baby when my boyhood cat (who came with me when I left home) got terminally sick from age. I couldn't even pull myself together to bring her be put down (she was 18) and my mom came and took her for me.

My dad passed when I was nearly 20. My first real loss but I was so messed up during that period of my life that it didn't hit me hard until later in life what a HUGE loss it was.

My wife over the last two years has had two incidents with her breasts - the first time involved surgery, this time, a couple of months back, just a scare.

I can tell by your attitude and obvious strength that you are gonna be ok. I feel for your mental anguish and that of those that love you. It's hard. But I see nothing but an awesome strong woman who is full of life and desire. You got this.

Please keep us in the loop and use us to help thru the tough times.

Thank you both so much for your kind words. It really means so much.
Quick Draw, I am getting the chemo mouth sores. Unfortunately, I can't comment on the PG effect because I use unflavored VG. Maybe I should switch back and see if there's a difference.

Cathouse, the fact that you would de-lurk and share really warms my heart. Thank you for that and for the well wishes from your 'cathouse'. I think we have a lot in common.

Welcome back Christina

Thank you, ModFather. We'll talk soon about my custom breast cancer awareness LP Reo...LOL!!!

RUSS!!!
Thank you for sharing.
Also, don't be surprised if you see a pm from me here or elsewhere.
As I said, I am WAY behind on builds...and during this time...my low tech abilities aren't holding up to my stress level.
Could really use some links to your videos or some one on one advice if you can.

Welcome back! I too had similar life changing issues that happened to me last year and it seemed like the only thing that kept me sane was my REO, and this forum. I was so tempted to go back to analogs, and tequila to ease the pain, but I remained strong. Going on 3 years now, and no analogs. I actually don't even know the price of analogs anymore.
Stay strong, and wishing you the best!

I cheated and watched your question and answers video first...

I needed to know if you had seen a kitchen sink...LOL

Really enjoyed it, Russ.
