My current iAtty coil... CLOSE UP!!!!!!!

This is my current coil, it's made on a large safety pin.

Wick: xc 116
NR Wire: .999 pure silver
R Wire: 36 awg Kanthal A1 3.5 Ohm (Crimped)

I thought you might like this. This nextel is on it's 3rd or 4th coil so 3 weeks to 1 month of use. It's still going strong.

Not the same coil, but my large safety pin I use... try it, it's been very successful for me

and my modded cup I use...

Wick installed to show the length that I personally have found to work the best

Wow Rick excellent job and very helpful indeed. Really like the way you make the extra turns with the silver so the R wire is inside the cup. Cant wait to try this. The modded cup is so nice too.

Thanks guys, I've found that wrapping the NR wire around at least one time, helps keep the coil tight and in place when putting it in the cup, it also prevents any possiblity of the resistance wire from contacting the plastic

Very nice Rick. I never thougt of putting an extra wrap or two of NR wire on the wick to help hold the coil in place. Also helps keep the NR wire cool during dry burn as the heat is transferred to the wick longer instead of down the NR and onto the plastic.

It looks really nice, i wish i could buy that XC Nextel 116. I am using my iAtty with SS 400 Mesh.

I ordered Fine Silver Wire 30 gauge Dead Soft 20 Feet and Nichrome Wire, 34ga, 30ft, 16 days ago and i haven't received it yet plus iAtty replacement O-Rings from COV.

Very nice pics. I may need to shorten up my wick a bit, I have mine right down to the bottom threads.

To me the longer wick doesn't work any better than my shorter version. A shorter wick means my wick supply lasts a little bit longer

I received it today Usually packages from USA to México take 10 days to arrive.

Bruce sent me the tracking number and little while after the package arrived.

I bought the Silver NR Wire and the Nichrome Wire on eBay, neither packet has arrived
