I'd be interested in a video too - and - can someone explain what "One Small chunck of 1/2 PVC Sch. 40 (Must be Sch. 40 - 600psi WILL NOT WORK )" is and where one might find some (apart from madog's toolbox ;))
Any hardware store should be able to help - It is a spacer for the batteries in the flashlight. Schedule 40 has a thicker wall 600psi is to thin and the batteries flop around.

What? No in-shower video like the dude on youtube? Chicken! :p

Hell no.

It's time a woman stepped up to the plate and did a shower e-cig vid. The last thing we need is another hairy old dude dancing-vaping in the shower. This quote brought to you from a from a hairy old dude...

Ew.

So how many mAH compared to the SD?
Don't know what the screw driver has - I use 2 CR2 3.6 volts (FRESH) Rated at 3 volts at 800mah (probably under rated) - so essential a 6 volt bat at 800mah.
I Vape ALOT - I go through 3-4mls of juice a day - Got up at 7:30am and Fresh batteries lasted me until 1:30. Not Bad - I would have gon thru 3-4 of the standard DSE901 batts by that time.

Does your wife have any ambitions for a career on the stage madog? :p

On a more serious note - Bastage has posted on USB mods and advises against increasing volts - not even by using 4 * 1.2v batteries. Is your atomiser showing any sign of overheating or burning up?

Well it is warmer - Don't know the long term effect - I have tested it with a volt meter in line and it is actually pulling less amps than my USB hookup
1.13 amps in the Magnum compared to 1.34 amps hooked up to the USB port - Voltages at rest is around 6.1 volts with a fresh charge and when in use it drops to 5.1 volts when the atomizer comes on.

I am working on a PWM controller that I am hoping to include in the Magnum (It is based in a simple 555 timer IC) - What it will do is produce a Square wave that will switch the power on and off to the atomizer at around a 40% duty cycle rate to bring the voltage down but still give full current flow to the atomizer Similar to a electronic dimmer or a motor speed controller. All is done on it so far but I need to design a better voltage compensation circuit so as the batteries drain things stay in line. This would eliminate the over voltage issues. Getting it to all fit in the case will be another story. When it is done the schematic will of course be open source for all to enjoy and hopefully improve on. Another note on the over voltage issue - I got a cheap 12volt cig lighter to USB adapter used it for 3 days till an atomizer went poof - Mesured the voltage it was putting out a full 12 volts - NICE :(

PS - If my wife did the shower thing - I could probably make enough money to REALLY support the "hobby" the way she is built.

OK everybody here is the Video as promised of the Magnum in use, a little commentary and some explanations. Sorry it took so long I had to read thru a bunch of posts and watch a video on "standardized rating" (Thank You Leadford) - As well as waiting for what seemed like an eternity for google to process the vid for publication.
Hope you enjoy. I will be compiling a assembly video son next few days - probably over Turkey Day Weekend.
