So I just started mixing, I've tried a few different mixes like 50/50 vp/pg and 70/30. With and without distilled water. I want to make it without nicotine at first as I can't get hold of any yet. I've tried 100% vg and 100% pg with and without water and still no vapour. What am I doing wrong?

Im using a smok m80 with a Kangertech subtank mini. Works fine with the e juice that I bought but I've mixed loads of different ways and get nothing. The VG that I bought is vegetable glycerine and the PG is propylene glycol. Also the ones I've tried mixing myself leaks out of the bottom of the subtank mini, the e liquid that I buy doesn't
VG is very thick, is yours? if you taste it (normal it is safe but I cant say if your is as I'm not even sure its VG) it has a sweet taste to it, PG is much thinner and is warm on the skin and has a slightly bitter taste.. This is one of those moments where I wish I could pop round, I'd be able to tell you straight away because I DIY all my own juice. It does sound like you have fake stuff..
100VG is almost as thick as corn syrup.... if you arent getting vapor from 100VG ( no water added) then its your coil/wick/watts are off...

Are you allowed to say where you bought your PG/VG? Then somebody might be able to confirm if they supply genuine liquids, or not...

The VG is very thick and sweet and the PG is a bit bitter to taste. I'm from England but I live in Borneo and I bought them from a local ingredients store that sells cooking ingredients for cakes and pastries. They have their own labels on that just say Glycerine and PG. I've changed my cool and wick numerous times. I'm not using any flavouring as of yet as the only ones I can get right now are oil based. As for the leaking I don't know what's going on there, like I say I've cleaned everything and changed the coils and wick and when I use the e liquid that I bought from the vape store it works perfectly. Btw thank you so much guys for the replies. Im getting some different VG tomorrow to try but the PG I can only get this one that I have. I don't think the PG is the problem.
That doesn't really make sense.. If you're vaping just VG, you should be getting quite a bit of vapor.
