+1 for steeping time. I also have problems with nut type flavors because for me, they seem to have a dry and muting effect to them. (Yeal, I know dry isn't a flavor, but it's the best I can do lol.) I still use them sometimes but in very small amounts. I'd much rather get a flavor that already has a nut flavor in it, such as Hangsen Highway or similar.

Over flavoring can often mute flavors as well.

Ya perhaps I will lower my %. It has been steeping for over 2 weeks.
This is what I have in it:
2% FA shade
1.5% FA dark vapur
5% FA pear
1% FA hazelnut
1.5% TPA marshmallow
70pg/30vg

You need to decide what you want your base flavor to be. Right now your base flavor is pear. You don't want pear to be the dominent flavor if your trying to make a tobacco vape. First describe what your trying to accomplish in taste then we can better advise.

I would do something like this

5% shade
1 - 2% dark vapor
1% hazelnut
.5% (thats half a percent marshmallow) You don't want to taste the marshmallow you just want the thickening effect.
and I would leave the pear out or go with no more then 1% to just give the mix a slight sweetness.

heat steep at 150F for 2 - 3 hours or steep naturally for 3 weeks.

If you want some insight into great tobacco mixing read through this thread. I started it for the express purpose of sharing tobacco tips tricks and recipes. It contains a wealth of information
