My Efest Xsmart single USB charger

I just got my Efest Xsmart single usb charger, though it didn't come with any instructions, I put my new 18650 battery in it to charge and the light turned red. I'm assuming this means it's charging? ... but you know what they say about assuming it makes a... out of you and me. Anyway... does anyone know? is it supposed to turn red? and then turn green when charged? I tried to find info at the Efest web site but no luck. any info is appreciated.

I have the same charger. The light is red while charging and will switch to green when the battery is charged.

You're welcome. That would be a 2008 Ultra Classic. I opted for a geezer glide at age 31. Guess I have an old soul

I just looked up the charger. I noticed that its good for 3.7V batteries. Im not sure if thats the case or not, but its worth looking into, especially if you're basing your info on 4.2V.

What batteries are you using?

I really dont know enough about the charger to say one way or another, more just curious. I use Nitecore.

The battery is a Panasonic NCR18650 3.6v 2700mAh

Comfort and style don't make you a geezer. Just makes you smarter than the folks picking bugs out of their teeth cuz they think they look cooler w/o a faring.
