Hey,

So i've been using an ego for about a month or so now and I use the dripping method. At the start i don't think it leaked as much but now the liquid constantly drips down and ends up on the battery. At first i thought maybe I was dripping too much (I was using 3 drops until it started to taste weird) but now I witched to 2 drops and it still continues to leak.

Am I doing something wrong or is this normal that it leaks and I have to wipe it almost every time I drip??

I use a joye ego as well and drip and it does leak too , im always having to wipe out the inside after I take the atty off to charge the bat , I tried some different atomizers than came with the kit , just got a couple of the min the mail today , granted they have not got but a few hours of use on them yet , but I dont notice nearly as much leacking out of the bottom of either one so far , might try scoring a different brand atomizer . I still have a couple that hasnt got here yet I'm going to try too . when I get those and compair them to these and so on and they have some time under their belts I'll let you know if any of thems worth recommending to others.

I had this problem when I first started dripping, myself. My atomizers would work great for a while, then eventually the juice would just start p*ssing right through them. A new atomizer would solve the problem for a little while, but then it would start leaking, too.

Here's a couple things you can try:

1 - if you're currently using PG-based juice, try a thicker all-VG juice

2 - use a drip shield. Awesome little device, no worries of leaking or over-dripping ;-)
I'm not sure how many places carry them right now. EmpireMods was the first, I think they designed it, but Avid Vaper has some, too. In fact, AV has a "drip shield cone" which is basically a cross between an ego cone and drip shield, but the standard drip shield will work fine on your ego, the cone one is more to streamline the look of it on that style battery

The Ego Tank atty has a piercing plate with a spike on it that covers the coil. With the plate in, the juice runs off to the side and can leak out of the atty. You can remove and replace it using a straightened paper clip with a tiny bend in the end like a hook. Pull on it several times and it will come out. Then, you can drip directly into the coil (hole at the bottom).

I'd order a 306 atty and a drip tip and use that instead of the Ego-T. It will cost you about $10.

Here's a video that shows how to remove the plate and replace it.
