Hey all!

*adding to my post count*

I just received a Piper eGo passthrough from a close friend for free, the problem I'm having is that if I drip more than one drop onto the atty, it leaks EVERYWHERE.

Would a cone help resolve this? I can't tell exactly where it's leaking from, it's either the air ports or the button.

Either way, retiring this passthrough for now, not a big fan of using PG as a hand-wash.

100% PG juice? That's really thin but I still wouldn't expect one drop to drip out.

Sometimes a bit of suction can form at the end of your drag, pulling back down toward the battery. With manuals I remember to continue my drag a bit after I let up the button to prevent that. Do you think you are getting suction like that?

You can also try unscrewing your atty, cleaning up any leaks, then screw it in just enough to make contact (no further than necessary) That may give better airflow and prevent the suction effect.

You can also try blowing out your atty into a tissue. Maybe there is more liquid in it than you think.

I rarely have that suction thing happen - it was mostly when my batteries were new and with a new carto.

And how are you coaxing the drop down? Don't blow into the atty or shake it down - I find both to be too rough and can send the liquid right out the bottom of the atty. I blow across the drip tip opening.

I do not use a cone so I can't help with that either.

Okay, just switched out the atty, cleaned everything out, dripped 2 drops, and it seems like it is leaking through NEAR the button.

Not sure if this will be fixable then...

Edit for clarity

Its not a sealed connection. My two cents: buy a 510/510 extender if you want to salvage this unit. I had one of these that ended in the garbage....I also vowed never to order from the vendor here I purchased it from. Good luck!

I just tried a 510 atty with drip tip on mine. No leaking at all. With or without a cone. The leakage must be coming from your atty and right down the tube since there is nothing in there except the switch circuit board and the usb wiring connections. Or, you said you are using an ego atty? Like an ego tank atty? Otherwise they are all just 510 attys. You could try lifting up the center pin with a little pressure on 2 sides of the round connector, just to lift it up a tad, a straight or safety pin works, and then re-connect your 510 atty and see if that helps. Are you flooding the atomizer with too much juice?

Any help finding one online? I am only finding adapters for autos :\.

Try goodprophets, they carry good, cheap adapters. You want a 510 to 510 adapter not an extender otherwise your ego will be 2 feet long. I would think that the problem is with the atty leaking into your pt not with your pt. If I were you I'd do a little research on cartomizers. They might be easier then dripping on a leaky atty. :)

+1 on the above except that the OP changed out the atty and it still leaked. Could be the OP has several leaking attys. But yes, for these Pipers I like a Boge 2.0 carto with a drip tip to top off throughout the day. It doesn't take much to flood out a 510 atty, one little drop too much and it's running out the bottom of the atty. That has to be it. These are pretty simple devices and not sealed either which is not good!
