Aslo, if anyone knows of a site I can get all of this from in one shop, good rep, reasonable price, I'm all ears. Otherwise, I'm just gonna start hitting the "good rep" vendors here and see what I can see this weekend!

Hello,

That setup looks great, i'm currently using two eGo Twist 1000mAh with j-Tanks and Boge Cartomizers. The Tanks and the cartos are a pain in the a compared to the Vivi Nova V2.5 that seems great and sooooo convenient. I get two of those tomorrow (+ the Twists) for my cousin as a starter kit.

I'm vaping Boba's Bounty and PG Hype from Alien Visions juice (Alien Visions E-Juice) but they are closed for two weeks.

I've had great experiences will all the vendors but these i recommend.

For general purpose gear
- VaporKings (Joye eGo | Joye 510 | Electronic Cigarette supplies Tulsa | Batteries, atomizers, cartomizers, e-Liquid and more!)
- Altsmoke (Nobody sells the eGo Twist cheaper than them)
For Tanks:
- Electronicstix
- GotVapes
For Juices:
- Aliens Visions (my go-to supplier)
- BackWoodsBrew (They have some hardcore fans, like a cult, their juices are ok i guess)
- HighBrowVapor (You taste exactly what the description of the juice states so think hard before you choose, u may not like what you get, but they are great juicemakers)
- Altsmoke (my first love was their HighCaliber Killa Vanilla but i'm trying to DIY it myself, i can't recommend their non-US juices, not good imo)

VaporsChoice, AltSmoke and HealthCabin all had those parts when I shopped for them. HealthCabin was the cheapest, but the shipping takes forever if you get the slickest deal. AltSmoke and VaporsChoice came right away, a couple of days. Week later I'm still waiting on HealthCabin to arrive from China--could easily be another week or more.

How does the whole overcharging thing work with the battery/passthrough devices where it's a battery but can be plugged in to use while charging or used as a "passthrough"? I know that you're always actually using the battery power rather than the power coming directly from the USB cable with these so they're not true passthrough devices. Are they susceptible to the same kind of overcharging issues?

I would think that any battery being charged has the possibility to become overcharged. To my understanding, the passthrough feature should just be a trickle charge, and there shouldn't be as much chance of danger when used that way. But the last time I used a "passthrough" was when they didn't actually have batteries in them, so "USB power adapter" would have been a more accurate description.

Congrats and good luck. And props for some variety in your delivery system. I'd consider getting an atomizer and some cartos with your next order if for no other reason than to see what they're like. You can get a good atomizer for $7-10 from a few places, and cartos are less than $10/box. You might like them better (or worse) than what you have……but it's worth experimenting. Just be sure that you once you find something that works, you have enough to last through getting more shipped to you.

Well, I clicked the purchase button on a 650 & a 900 twist, 2 mini nova's, a stardust, 2 chargers (work/car and home) and some random odds and ends from gotvapes. And then some liquids from BlueMist Vaping.

Now, I wait .... *sigh*

Congrats, Bumble! Ya dun Good! You will be very happy with that set up. It's the best of what is available right now.

Relax, Enjoy!

Basic to Advanced Battery Information from Battery University

Batteries do not have to wait after a charge. All you want to know about Li bats above (as in don't let them fully drain)

Get another twist if you're only using 2. Unless you think you can last 24/7 if one (like the 900) breaks.

Collars C/D are the gotvapes ones for the vivi/mini (someone posted B).

May want to try a vivi 2.5 for home.

I have the same set up. Some things:

1) Rewicking the heads with cotton/making your own heads is the way to go. I posted a thread on how to do it--can search or youtube it. I have 0 mech skill and now do it all the time. The vivi with cotton wicks is sweet and for $22 of cotton/wire is years of heads for $0/week.

2) My exp (varies with your juice)
1.8ohm is good at Ego levels 3.3v or so--cool vape. I don't use them.
2.4 good all around... 3.7 or so warm vape.
2.8+ 4-4v+ is hot vape depending on your juice. I don't really like burning juice into my throat all day so I make 2.4 ohm ones.

Good set up!

Coil up that cotton and you will be gtg!!

That's awesome. I keep thinking about investing in one of those cases. Does a 650mAh twist with a vivi nova or carto tank (xl or regular size) actually fit in it?

1) Rewicking the heads with cotton/making your own heads is the way to go.

I need to get around to that, but I'll be using SS Mesh. Cotton seems like a great idea, but not being able to dry burn for cleaning just doesn't seem worth it. These things seem to last forever if you rinse + dry burn every few days. My first vivi nova is still on its first 1.8 ohm head……which I put on……july 23rd. So, that's 37 days of daily use……the vast majority of it as my main device. Even if you are paying $3/head, that's effing cheap.

Bubblebee I have 4 twist now i got my 4th on etoday along with several clearomizzes for Standard resistant and Low restistant.
I have shop a few vendors already and seems that eGo-C Twist by Joyetech has the best prices and I love his customer serivce and also love his super fast shipping i ordered monday and I got my order today I believe his store is in New Jersery and I live in Kentucy thats what I call fast. Just wish i would have found him sooner wheni first started vaping which will be 6 weeks ago tomorrow. I could have saved time and money.

Thanks everyone!

yep, I'm gonna get 2 650 Twists. I figure I can have one out, while one is on the charger. It shouldn't take as long for one to charge as it does to kill one, and I am always near a power source. Is there anything like a "rapid" usb charger for the twists? (I have a USB wall adapter). I know my batt's for my racecar have a quickcharger. If it love them that much, I will get a few more!! LOL .. I'm more worried about overall length of battery than how many I need to own long term.

Thanks to everyone for the sleeve/cone links!!! I had no idea what to even type in the search boxes at the sites I was at!!! LOL

I think I will try to get a Mini Nova with the 3 different heads, that way, I can just order multi-replacements in the resistance I like. When changing flavors, so you just wash them off and clean out the tank?

I think I'm gonna need to watch some youtube videos this weekend about atomizers and dripping, I still don't quite get how it all works ... but hey, I've come a long way in a month!!!

a 650 with a vivi fits without the driptip it holds everything here's a list of whats in mine

2 1000mah twists
1 ego c passthrough
1 650mah twist
1 3.5ml vivi nova with driptip
1 2ml vivi nova with tip
2 replacement atty's
2 ego c upgrade batteries
1 10 ml juice bottle
2 5ml juice bottles
2 vision ego stardusts
2 upgraded smoktech stardusts
3 repairable vision stardusts

holds way more than i need lol

My "Personal Experience" with the Vivi (MODERATED). When its great its amazing, and when not so great... you better make sure you've got your insurance forms up to date. It has spat juice into my mouth and on my lap, provided great vapor and flavor, and everything between. Your mileage may vary, and I hope it varies to the positive.

Mine certainly does. I don't think I've ever really gotten a dry hit of mine, but I also tilt & twirl them out of habit. Nothing tastes quite like an atomizer, but there are things I prefer about the vivi nova experience to the dripping experience……mostly that they're a lot more convenient and easier to chain-vape without the whole atty getting hot to the touch.

Ok, so I got the hardware 2 days ago, charged up the batteries, set up a Nova on one (the 900) and the Stardust on the other (the 650).

First impresions (and keep in mind, this is coming from a literal green noob), I like the Stardust a lot better.

The Nova doesn't spit or sputter into my mouth at all, but if it's been sitting for a while, it is rather harsh for the first 4 or 5 vapes when i pick it up. I've tried twirling it, swishing the liquid around, all that, seems the same no matter what I do. The tank is pretty full, so I don't think anything is drying out ... after 4 or 5 vapes, it smooths out, and will pretty much stay that way until I put it down again. The Stardust is smooth on vape #1, no swirling or swishing involved.

Also, the juice has more flavor coming out of the Stardust? Same juice, same volt setting (the mAh's shouldn't make the difference right???). Someone told me the wick/atomizers are the same between the 2 tanks, so why would this be??

All in all, I'm pretty happy. I think I will order a few more Stardust tanks in a week or two, and some more heads. I need a youtube video on how to clean them! LOL

I'm just a beginner, but I use that same set up (twist+cosmetic adapter+mini vivi w/ 2.4 ohm head) and I love it. Everything on your list there looks good to me.

I'm interested in what is needed to try dripping too. Glad you asked.

I'm also a beginner. I just got my eGo Twist in the mail yesterday. I'm using the Twist 1000mah and it's actually pretty small in diameter (about the same width as my finger). I have a 2.8 ohm T2 Clearomizer on it. I found the best vape for me is at about 4.5 volts. I was blown away by the amount of vapor it produces. I was on the fence about whether or not vaping would be for me until yesterday...I'm hooked. I ordered a Provari v2 last night and another eGo Twist for my girlfriend!

The Nova should get better as it breaks in. Some are quicker than others.

QFT.

The ones I've done nothing to did that for about 2 days (a few tanks worth of juice). The one I started today (one of mine wore out after a week or two……the >1 month old one is still going strong), I rinsed and dry burned as though I'd been using it and was just cleaning it………zero break in time. I was amazed.

But just put it on and vape it, yeah…it's a weird and inconsistent experience for a day or two. At least, that's what I've seen.
