Hey guys I decided to upgrade from my 510t and got an ego twist yesterday and got a vision version 2 clearomizer of 1.8 ohms with it. I wanted to get the mini vivi nova but they were all sold out of them. I have a lot of questions.

What is the difference between the vivi nova mini and the vision version 2?
The vapor is so strong and gives such a strong throat hit even on the lowest setting of 3.2 volts. So should I get a different atomizer head for it with a higher resistance? If so what ohms do you recommend for the ego twist. I kind of like the throat hit and the warmer vapor but it is way too harsh, It might be the dry hit I hear people talking about? Should I hold it more upright when I vape it or hold it down i'm not sure how the feeding of the liquid works, because on the 510t when I would hold it more up then I would get an easier hit on it and it would taste better.

And is there any danger to accidently using a higher voltage then recommended for a certain ohm atomizer? This atomizer says its recommended only up to 3.7.

sorry for rambling so many questions  I guess to summarize if I want it to hit more like my 510t and not be so harsh what kind of ohm atomizer head should I buy.

Yes there is a danger, if you use too much voltage it could fry the atomizer.

Well, i don't have a VV2, but I do have a mini nova and a kanger T2. I use my mini with 2.4ohm heads, and generally vape 4.0 to 4.3ish. Its nice there, throat hit, but not harsh and no burnt taste. Now my Kanger came with a 1.8 I think, and I can't turn that up to even 4.0 without it tasting burnt and being harsh. I usually keep it around 3.4 - 3.6.

Maybe try a 2.4ohm coil/head? Also, think about the PG/VG ratio of your juices. If they are all PG, the throat hit is going to be harder than if the are 50% VG.

The main difference between the Mini and VN is the tank size, the Vivi Nova being a little bigger and holding more juice (about another ml.) They both use the same head.

Usually the standard head that comes on most versions are the 2.4ohm heads, which I find are actually higher than that. With this head I would imagine you will run it anywhere from 4.0-4.5 volts on your twist, maybe even higher.

Generally I would say to start low and just dial it up until you find a spot you like. If you get to a point that it tastes burnt, then you should probably back it down a bit as you went too far.

Also you have to to dip your VN's toward the back wick and back toward the front wick so they keep covered, or do a twirl and tip. It seems like a hassle at the beginning but it becomes second nature quickly :p.

I know the throat hit is harder on the pg but on my 510t its not that bad and even when I don't vape very much smoke on the ego its still super harsh for some reason when the 510t i can without the harshness

Yes...I've found that to be true, too. The few 2.4s that I've measured came in around 2.6 or 2.7 ohms.
