It's really strange. When I pull on the e-cig, I can feel the vapor move across my tongue and I can taste it. If I blow it out without inhaling I can see it. But when I inhale it, however briefly, I see nothing come out. Great for stealth vaping but part of my smoking experience is to take a nice deep inhale and then watch the vapor pour out.

Is this happening because I have 100% PG ejuice or maybe because it's brand new? I've been vaping for a couple months now and have tried a myriad of brands, mixes and tastes, but I haven't experienced this action before.

What e-cig are you using? I still get clouds of vapor using 100% pg. My friend had the same problem with her kr808 but when she switched to a 510 and all was well with the world. From my experience I can get a huge hit off of a two piece but I have to hit it much longer. I kind of have to fill my mouth with vapor inhale and repeat. You will get more vapor with vg but you loose some of the TH.

I've only been doing this for 5 months now but I use Kr808's with 100% PG and can get clouds of vapor. I believe it is what others on this forum have previously posted - there is a learning curve to vaping, it is not 'exactly like' smoking. I have found that when I inhale "deeply' into my lungs (like I did when smoking) I get the throat hit and I get the nicotine, but I exhale very litttle - because vapor dissipates and is absorbed much quicker in the lungs then smoke. However, I've learned to inhale slower and a little longer, then take the hit, just past the throat hit, into the top of my lungs and then exhale and I get a lot of vapor (depending of course on the cartomizers I'm using - Turbos being the best in my experience). I definitely now want to try some of the cartos and/or liquid that is a mix of PG & VG - especially like yellowmonkey said where you are able to indicate the % of mix you want.

I am going to assume you have used other juices without this problem?

While PG is contributing to your minimal vapor, if you are really getting that little vapor coming out then chances are you aren't really getting a lot of vapor going in. So while a change in juice may help, there could be something else wrong too.

Like others have said, since you have them, try the juice on a different device.

60/40 is my sweet spot. It's the best of both worlds. I know a lot of people say "who cares about vapor" well I do. It's part of my fix. I have found some flavors that are just better at 100% one or the other. Also liquids are very different depending on voltage. At 5 volts pg rocks. At 3.7 or 3.2 I really prefer a combo that is higher in VG. Also my first vapes of the day I start with VG and then move on to PG later.

It DOES depend on the juice sometimes..I have 100% PG from other vendors and have no problem, but some of them just don't seem to produce the vapor at all PG. As far as I'm concerned, if the TH and flavor are there, I don't NEED to send up smoke signals..;) But, sure, there ARE times I like to see it..

You've got yourself some 'stealth' liquid! :sneaky:
