Hi everyone, I've had my evic for a few months and it worked fine until recently. For the last couple weeks it will read the ohms at 2.2 when I screw on my protank but then when I fire it up, it reads atomizer short. then, if I back the protank off so it's just screwed on loosely, it will work. But then to make matters more confusing, it will start reading ohms that make no sense for a protank coil, such as .4 ohms, 0 ohms, ect.... Any ideas what's wrong with it? Thanks:)

I have an evic as well. I get weird ohm readings when (and this happens a lot more than you may think) the replaceable coil gets unscrewed inside the clearo. Sometimes the evic can't read the coil and says *no atomiser found*. So when I change it and clean, the coil is found to be very loose or even total unscrewed from the base.
I have no idea how this happens, but it does.

Try screwing your coil in the tank a bit tighter.

Always as process of elimination. As was previously suggested, try another topper and see if you get the same problem (backups to backups is rule number 1). If you do, then it's probably the eVic. If you don't (which is probable), then its the connection in the Protank topper. Check the coil and the pin. Connection issues are quite common on our gear, and, in time, will be something you check without thinking about it. Good luck and welcome to the Forum.
