You'll get there. I used to smoke as much as you did and I've gone almost 3 months without an analog. One day you'll decide not to buy a pack and that will be that.

Don't get me wrong, it's not always easy. Today, for example, I was doing something and I really, really wanted a cigarette. But I told myself that I don't do that anymore and took a couple of extra drags off my 510. But with a PV, resisting those cravings is not all that hard.

Congratulations on the success so far! I know it is hard giving up those last couple of analogs a day, but you will get there; just stay strong!!!

I'm a noob to the pv scene as well; got my first one last week (the Janty Ego). The Ego arrived around noon on Wednesday, and I haven't had an analog since. I've been a 1.5 pack/day smoker for about 10 years, and used smokeless tobacco for 3 years before that. By and far, this is the best decision I've made for myself in a very long time. It's great hearing a story like yours. Stay strong!

You know what, I believe that a significant percentage of analog cigs we smoke (or used to smoke) are smoked out of habit, not because of need/craving. Case in point, I work from home and normally smoke 10-12 analogs a day. Well today, I smoked about half that amount, and in between, I've been vaping on nic free pre-filled carts that came with my eGo kit because I'm still waiting for my shipment of nic juice to arrive!

So glad to be reading these stories! I thought I was weak for not being willing (or able) to give up the analogs completely. But then, I only started vaping yesterday. Haven't found a flavor I like yet. And, as mentioned, the 510 seems a little temperamental, too. No consistency. I ordered a PT, though. Hope that takes care of the problem. Looking forward to the day I can say I'm analog-free.

I also am still in search of my favorite flavors. You may have already researched this but I found the cignot.com site is the best place to go to order a whole bunch of flavors in both PG and VG very cheaply. If you can afford it, fill up your cart with as much variety as possible, more than $59 worth to get free shipping. The largest bottles under the 'other' section are just $9 and they seem to be lasting FOREVER for me. I've been dripping a $9 bottle of chocolate cream 26mg into my 510 all week and the bottle still looks full.

First off congratulations! I smoked for 40 plus yrs and could not quit no matter what.

I found green smokes and quit within a week! Amazing! I do still like them and have learned to refill the carts for them .

I also have a value4life portable kit that is great for being out and about. Keeps the bats charged on the go.

I absolutely love Ms T's bakery essentials for juice. If you are looking for strictly tobacco flavors the green smokes carts still has the best one to me but they are pricey and I don't use them any more.

In fact I have gotten to where I really prefer my Amaretto
from Ms T rather then a tobacco flavor .

Good luck on your esmokes journey, Just try not to go overboard trying all there is out there. It can get expensive doing that real fast LOL. But worth every penny in the end when you can actually quit analogs.
