I must say I think I'm finally ready to convert from manual cigarettes to e-cigs starting next week. I've finally found products that work fairly well for me and actually satisfy that cigarette urge. My only problem is my finger is starting to hurt from pushing the manual button on my E-Power. Perhaps I'm hitting it too hard?

Try putting as little pressure as necessary on the button to activate your device. Pay attention every time and eventually you'll sort of 'train' yourself not to push so hard. If that doesn't solve your problem you might want to consider an automatic battery. I'm a big box mod manual switch kind of guy, but I started missing the feeling of a cigarette between my fingers and not having to push a button, so I ordered myself a couple of 510 auto batteries. I put some Boge LR cartos on them (which is not recommended cause you can kill the battereis but what the heck they're only 10 bucks) and I'm loving it! Totally cured those cravings and desires and gave me the real cig feeling I was after.

lol... guess I kind of went off topic there, just excited about my new setup hehe.. vape on! :) :vapor:

If it were me, I wouldn't switch to an auto battery because with an auto you can't do a dry burn to clean the atty. You also can't drip with an auto without the risk of ruining your battery by getting juice down inside the battery hole. Then there is also the risk of auto batteries going off from wind, vibration, loud noises etc. The Riva batteries and the egos (Riva knockoffs) have a nice soft rubber button that is real easy on the finger. The Joye eGo has a hard plastic button and you probably wouldn't like that. Wow, you must really vape a lot.

Correction: Instead of saying "Riva knockoffs" I should have just said "knockoffs". I have an ego but it is not a true Joye ego. It has a soft rubber button like the Riva but the button light is red instead of blueish white.

Some buttons are easier to press than others, even on the same model. The QC isn't very tight on this stuff and I don't think they are testing for pressure sensitivity.

If you're interested in trying a mod then I'd look at one with the horn type buttons, I've found those to be the most comfortable and easiest to use, other than that just try to lighten up on it and see how much pressure is really required to fire it.

I'd only go to an auto as a last resort. Especially if you drip. If you do want to try an auto I got the Volt recently and it works perfectly. Really impressed buy it, autos have come a long way since I tried them last but they still have to have the open airway hole which can lead to potential issues. Also after using an e-power I don't think you'll be satisfied by a volt full time. It's a great little pv in it's class though.
