The other day I cleaned some GoGo cartos and some Bloog and Volt 808 cartos. I rinsed them with really hot water for 10 minutes using the faucet spray attachment. Then I baked them in the oven at 250, turned off the oven after an hour and left them in the oven overnight. So far I've only tried 1 of the GoGo cartomizers, but it vaped and tasted fine. I also used one of the Bloog and two of the Volt cartomizers and they vaped and tasted fine.
The problem is that one each of the Bloog and Volt cartomizers had a nasty burnt flavor. They vaped fine, but I had to throw them out because of the taste. It felt like sucking on an analog after lighting the filter end. I'm sure you all know what I mean, I can't be the only one who's done that!
So, what did I do wrong. Should I have put them in the oven at a lower temperature or perhaps let them air dry instead of baking? I'd really like to figure this out, at least while I'm still in the flavor testing phase so I don't spend a fortune on cartomizers like I'm spending on juice.
