Howdy Folks,

I used the E-juice Me Up software. Decided on making a apple, watermelon mix (not in their data). Both are Lorann's flavorings (5% on each flavor). Nic is 50/50 pg/vg at 48mg, target is 20mg nic. Used 3 drops each flavor (after first vape added another drop of each flavor), pg was set for 70% and vg at 30%.

I shook the 3ml bottle for about 3 minutes, and then dropped it in hot water for about 5 minutes and shook again. Couldn't wait, dripped some. Very mild vape, I can taste both flavors, but only slightly. Quite airy. Dripping using a SmokTeck 2 ohm atty on my LavaTube, tried between 3.4 at .2 raises till 5.0 and then it got kinda harsh.

So, the next batch tomorrow, I'll retry again taking flavoring up to 10% each, but not sure if thats gonna actually help the vape. I'm asking if anyone can make any suggestions. It's not that its bad/wrong, just doesn't seem quite right yet. Open to suggestions.

Thank you,
Big Mac

P.S. Is there a data base anywhere that I can put in the flavorings I have and get a list of mixture I can make?

I use Lorann's watermelon flavor quite a bit, in fact I mixed up 3 x 30 ml bottles this morning. I use 10% flavoring in a 50/50 pg/vg mixture @ 24 mg. It doesn't need steeping. If you're mixing apple and watermelon both @ 10% you're going to be using 20% flavoring total. That may cause a problem, or it may be ok. I'd suggest mixing a small test batch again to see if it's what you're aiming for. A big part of DIY'ing is finding the right proportions. Experiment with it until you're happy but keep track of what works and what doesn't along the way so you don't end up repeating a failure.

My suggestions:

Single flavors first.

Let it steep.

Start low on flavor. (I have some I love at 5%)

Realx, take your time.

EDIT. I get quite impatient...I get it, really. What I did to fix that is I have six different mixes. Some need less steep time. It gives me "something to do" more...and makes me kill one particular mix and stress over a single bottle. My first batch was three flavors. Tonight I mixed quite a few. I have some known good and some that may need time or work.

This link might be what you are looking for. I found it recently on another thread here (don't know which one neither the poster, so: thank you if you were the one to post it here).
