update!

since i dont have one of those nifty 3.6 volt trustfire batts you guys use and radio shack doesnt carry a 3.6 volt rechargeable batt i wired up a battery pack (tested at 4 volts)using 2 1.2 volt batts and a 1.6 volt. wired the pack to the bax and this thing rocks!

i put this box in the classifieds $20 shipped with 1 week warranty OR (and much rather do) trade for one of those nifty trustfire double A batteries!

Try a lithium ion rechargable CR14500 battery. I think about 3.6v roughly same size as a AA, but more juice. These are usually available online. Def make sure the battery is protected. From what I have read, the batteries last for over a day until they need to be recharged.

do you have a cheap place to get those? i keep trying to go to dealxtreme but it never loads for some reason.

EDIT: also, do you know if i can use my kodak double a charger on these? or will i have to get a charger for them?

I would search ebay for the batts if you are having trouble loading the page. You will need a charger for those. A AA charger wont push the power to where you need it. ebay does have sets with the charger included.

if your using lithium cells YOU MUST USE THE CORRECT LITHIUM CELL CHARGER

do not use a Nicad or NiMh charger with lithium cells..

just had to clear that up
