My first burn on a coil .... Ouch.

Really, ouch I hate burns. They rank right up there with paper cuts for annoying injuries. I didn't touch it on purpose the darn REO started to tip over right after I was cleaning up the coil, burned me right on the side of my thumb when I grabbed it.

Well I made it a year of rebuildables or more without a good burn so maybe I was do.

How about you guys/gals any good burn stories to share ?

Yes I burnt my finger playing with the sub ohm kit . 4 ohms will burst into flames . I blame it all on pdib and he actually got some enjoyment out of it the sick puppy .
Take your batteries out next time buddy

Way back when I was smoking, it was dark and I was outside. I dropped my cigarette and couldn't find it. Then I started feeling a burn between my legs. The cig burned through my clothes to my groin. The worst part came next. Call it instinct. I started hitting that area to put it out. Yep got burned and I inflicted self injury.

I've been more lucky with vaping, no burns yet.

I hate burns, I would sometimes knock the cherry off a cig trying to ash out my car window. Only to have it land on my arm or lap, frantically beating myself about trying to extinguish it, all in the midst of rush hour traffic. Cigs are more dangerous then I thought.

I used to get burned all the time during my stint as a line cook, steam and fryer oil burns were always the worst.

I'll add a burns story.
I was using too small of a folded towl to take something out of the oven. I got the side of my pinky on the rack. In the shock I yanked my hand away, burned it on the top of the oven, and dropped my food

I've just burnt my finger while rebuilding my Igo on my GGTS.

I was trying to get the Igo out to read the ohm on my provari. I didn't lock my fire key and pressed it while turning out the Igo. Last like half a second and I can smell cooked flesh right off my finger. The pain didn't set in until 5 minutes later.

It's worse than cigarette burns IMO.

I did something really dumb a few weeks ago. I was rebuilding an atomizer and had a set up that I was vaping on while I was rebuilding. I was in the middle of firing and pinching the coil when I got distracted by one of my kids for a second. I went to vape on the one that was set up and grabbed the one that wasn't. I didn't realize it until I burnt my tongue on the red hot bare coil.

I just experienced this for the first time today. It sent me running to the bathroom sink to rinse out my eyeball.

My burn story.... was working on my car (welding on a new exhaust system) which was up on lift. I was wearing a pair of coveralls and had a hot spark (big piece of molten metal) go down the front of my coveralls and it ended up right at my crotch. Needless to say the folks in the autoshop got more then they bargained for as I danced around like a Indian doing a perverse rain dance and quickly stripped off my coveralls, to reveal I was only wearing boxers and Tshirt under (it was hot out)... lol

Have had a couple time putting the aga together after a fill and took a vape only to realize upon bringing it to my lips that the cap wasn't on. Reminded me of that skit on In Living Color with Jim Carrey and the hair staightener.

I don't think that's an area I want soft and supple.

I've been burned so many times (I worked in a glass factory) most small burns don't get noticed unless they blister and then I notice the blister. Hummmm when did that happen?
