Hello all!

No, I am not new, but I have a new question. I use a Provari, and have always used a Protank II or a Vision Vivi Nova. I just received my first cartomizer tank, a VPX from Vaperfexion. So heres my question...do I have to use a brand new cartomizer every time I change flavors? What is the best way to saturate the wick in the carto? To refill the tank, do I just pull the carto down some and fill the tank from the top? Are these stupid questions?

If you only have one cartotank, yes you will need to change both the cartomizer and the remaining juice in the tank. Unless you like mixing juice flavors together. Most people who enjoy multiple flavors have a cartotank devoted to each flavor.

Save the old cartomizer if it is worthy, place condom covers on the ends that the cartos came shipped with. This will keep the juice from drying out. Save the juice in an empty juice bottle if you wish to keep it.

There's several ways to prime the carto and refill the tank. Below is the one that I and many others have found to be successful. Priming the carto properly is the most important step. How well you do this will determine how that carto will perform in the tank for the rest of its life.

I do strongly recommend that you obtain a tank tool like the Slap Yo Moma tank accessory tool. There's a PBusardo review of one in the first blog article link below:

I have the original Vaporfexion Pro-V cartotank for my Provari.

I usually use a different carto for each flavor, but you don't have to. However, when I mix flavors I can gunk up the carto in only a few minutes most of the time, and end up replacing it. Did that just today actually. I use a carto tank tool to refill. My favorite is the Slap Yo Mama tank tool. I use the condom method for priming, which only takes about 5 dunks and then I'm primed and ready to go, not waste of time. I have used the plunger method and it also works great, but it's slower and no more effective, imho. No, these are good questions, and ones I think we probably all had. Check out the videos mentioned previously. Phil Busardo was my carto vaping hero for a long time and taught me everything I know, though I have never cleaned and re-used my cartos (he has a video out on that, lol). Good luck to you. I think you'll love the carto tank, particularly if you can't taste the carto filler material. Some people can taste the filler, so carto's don't work for them very well. I'm lucky, I can't taste anything since 1975....I jest. Best of luck!
